Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

I like having my wild (non-poisonous) snakes around my property. They keep the frogs, bugs, and lizards in check.

    Ford Bronco questions

The new Broncos look very promising, even though I am a Chevy guy. It is WAY better than that thing Chevy is calling a Blazer. Friend at work bought a new Bronco, and he loves it. He lifted it, customized it already, etc. He has no complaints. As a side note- I saw a hilarious bumper...

    Hydraulic Maintenance Question

So, as many of you might have read, I am soon to get a new Kubota Tractor. I already own a 3 point mounted log splitter that gets power from remotes. The log splitter was given to me by my dad. It is in like-new condition, BUT, it has not been operated in probably 10 years, since my old Ford...

Do you all remember your first concert

Sounds like you were/are in the Florida area. Did you ever attend Buzz Bake Sales in WPB? I've got some great memories from those.

Do you all remember your first concert

Now, for a good laugh. My first ever concert was New Kids on the Block. (There were girls involved). Now, best concert I've ever been to is a tie between Bob Seger, or Kid Rock.

    Impact Wrench Recommendations?

If you are not used to them, there is a learning curve to those impact drivers on screws. Easy to over drive, especially if you are used to using a screw gun.

    Kubota L4802

Finally, something to update! Spoke with my dealer today. It seems there are a grand total of 8 L4802s in the state of Florida, and one of them is mine. Contract has been signed, and building out to spec will begin shortly. There is hope out there.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY. What was your favorite car?

I was broke as a teenager, so all I had was junk, super-crappy cars. It wasn't until I was in my late 30s that I could afford a decent vehicle.

    Tools Used

DeWalt makes a pretty good 20v battery pressure washer. I have one.

    Tools Used

Problem is, you never know what is going to break, so you don't know what you are going to need. I will say this, when I go to my offroad racing events, I bring darn near my entire shop with me. 3 pack-out tool boxes of tools. About the only thing I don't bring is my welder, because it plugs...

    Big Tex trailer

I have a 70PI-14 tandem axle utility trailer. Rated for 5220# payload. I use it to haul my side by side, camping gear, atv, plus other farm stuff. I wouldn't load my tractor on it, though.

    Big Tex trailer

I don't have that trailer, but I do own a Big Tex trailer of a different model, and I am extremely happy with it. Great build quality.

    What is your day like?

My typical day (6 days a week)- Wake up at 4am. Drink 1 cup of coffee, watch local news for the weather, get dressed, pack lunch, out the door by 5 am. Arrive at the power plant at 5:15am. Have safety meeting, get work orders from an IPad, head out of the shop at 6:30. Work untill 9:30am...

    Impact Wrench Recommendations?

I recommend a battery impact. I personally own a DeWalt 1/2" impact, 3/8" impact. and 1/4" impact, and I love all 3. You can't go wrong with Milwaukee, either. I also own a Ingersol Rand 1/2" pneumatic impact, and it is EXCELLENT, but I rarely use it anymore due to the convenience of the...
