    Recovered B8200 - Found abandoned

I was able to find a hydraulic pump from White House Products in the UK. A fellow poster here on Orange TT had a good experience with them. The pump came in in 7 days including a weather delay. Amazing how we can move products across God’s green earth these days. I’ll be posting back when I...

Thanks!!!!! I missed your post somehow. I will definitely dig into this when I get the tractor back.

Thanks D2Cat. When I get the tractor back I’ll dig around. There is some play up/down in the shaft. Thinking this might be related.

Update….. I took the little tractor to a local Shadetree tractor mechanic who is strong on hydraulic repairs. We were able to finally get the necessary part to fix the relief valve assembly and the three point hitch is now working. It’s quite a story and I’ll come back and tell it to everybody...

Thanks. I can get over not having power steering BUT the play in the steering has got to go. From 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock. I don’t have the three point hitch working yet so I’m not able to use it for mowing but I can only imagine what it would be like trying to drive around trees on our property...

    Recovered B8200 - Found abandoned

UPDATE::::: Over the past 3-4 weeks progress has been made. I ended up taking the steel lines and related hydraulic hoses, the control the bucket of President scoop and dump functions down to the hydraulic line store and getting them completely rebuilt all new. $700 later and the loader is...

    Recovered B8200 - Found abandoned

It took 2 1/2 gallons of hydraulic fluid today just to get it to start to show on the dipstick. I ended up leaking a quart out while testing the loader. What leaked little milky, so I suspect that I have to drain the whole thing to get water out of it and refill it. I noticed that they do...

Basically, I think the problem was that I did not have it completely bled. I must admit it did take quite a bit of cranking. It had fuel returning back to the tank and still it wasn’t bled. 🙄 It was throwing me off but it finally cleared up and it runs nicely actually.

If they don’t sell these hydraulic steel lines anymore, I may have to get my son to cut and TIG in replacements sections. On another note… Dot The 3- point hitch does not come up .👎🏻 Maybe I just don’t know how to work it, but when I lift the crescent wrench lever, it just groans.

Loader works! But I have an issue. Do they still sell these steel hydraulic lines? It looks like one of the previous owners had tied chains around the loader, crossmember and crushed the lines. But just as well it appears that they have been rusty, and eventually gave out.

Thanks! I’ll dig deeper soon. Starting to see some time freeing up here in the near future to get back to the project. I have to walk by the thing every time I go to get any tools. It’s torture because I’m excited to see what comes next now that I have it running. I have a couple of leaks...

    Recovered B8200 - Found abandoned

I was leaning toward installing of those aftermarket multiguage kits with something that might give me oil pressure, water temp, etc. This gal has none of that detail. Probably easier to install this and get more benefit from it than trying to reorder the expensive Kubota light panel and get...

Great suggestion! That said, there is no gauge for pressure. I think what it originally had was just a warning light that turns on in the absence of pressure. Currently none of the dash information gauges work. The electrical was disabled by the previous owner. I’m going to have to work my way...

Sorry in advance for the silence. Wife and I are building a barndominium down here in Texas and between that and work I have had zero time to focus on the B8200. On January 11th I finally got her to light up and she runs! Sounds smooth and like a diesel tractor. I have a video but have not had...

I’ll play with this a bit more in the coming weeks and if I can’t get something to give I’ll hollar. We are building a barndo and running a business so my free time is thin. Thank you for the offer! I suspect the injector pump is plugged up.

That is the engine shut off. It rusted and broke off at the dash.

yes I have cracked the top hard fuel line loose at the injector and have cranked a lot. No fuel is coming out.

It’s It is returning fuel to the tank through the injector return lines but my gosh how much cranking do I have to do to get fuel to come out at the injector end lines??

Does anyone know what this blue knob is on the lower left of the injection pump?
