    BX Front Grill Guard

I just took the part off (the orange thing that came with my BX23s) and noticed that the weld that broke really looks like it was designed to fail before anything else, maybe to protect the frame. I think I'm going to just weld it up again.

@arml that looks really nice, did you fabricate that? What do you use the eyes for?

    BX Front Grill Guard

My BX23S manual shows that orange front guard as an option for the LA340 loader with quick attach coupler. Anybody have a part number? I just broke mine and I'm wondering if I should weld it up or buy a new one.

    BX23S rear hydraulic color codes

I have it set up now and it's working well. I can reach the valves from the seat. Here's some pics.

    BX23S rear hydraulic color codes

In case anyone else wants to use the 1/4" Summit Hydraulics couplers and wants color coded caps for them, I designed some 3D printable models so you can make them yourself. I shared it at...

    BX23S rear hydraulic color codes

Umm yes manual 😳 I did a little googling and it seemed like any kit might pose challenges with the backhoe. Plus, with a Summit Hydraulics valve block, power beyond sleeve and couplings I found on Amazon and some hoses i will have made I think the project is going to be around $200 total.

    BX23S rear hydraulic color codes

Dan: Perfect. Thank you! For future reference, this is black for tank like I thought, red for pump and blue for power beyond. But it's just a couple of colored caps so the actual pic of the hoses is better.

    BX23S rear hydraulic color codes

Hello, I'm setting up a flail mower that has some hydraulics. I got a valve block for it that I intend to mount on the three point hoop, so it becomes a permanent part of the mower instead of the tractor. I need to know which of the three connection on the tractor is pump, tank and power...

Online source for long M7 zerks?

Hey, that looks like it would work! Thank you!

Online source for long M7 zerks?

I snapped one of the zerks on my loader. It's a M7x1mm zerk that's a bit long because it's in a recess. Does anyone know of an online source for these? M7 seems to be less common than 6 and 8 mm.

    Thread size for grease nipple?

It's an old thread, but for anyone else stumbling upon this from a Google search, I just snapped a zerk on the LA340 loader on my BX23S that has M7x1 thread. M7 seems to be less common than M6 and M8 as zerks go and it's also bit longer to make it easier to insert the grease gun.

Dual rear wheels on a BX

Well, the kit doesn't even fit. The spacers are too wide or the bolts are too short. I see that the pipe is polypropylene SDR 17.6, but you probably already know that.

Dual rear wheels on a BX

So I just received the kit and water or sewer pipe is exactly what it is. One of the sections has the NSF marking on it. It doesn't look like polyurethane; I'm sure it's just HDPE. Outer diameter is 12.5" and wall thickness is about 3/4". I'm justifying the purchase by saying the price is...

Dual rear wheels on a BX

Heh! Well... want to make the front kit? I'm thinking of using threaded rod with lug nuts and some red threadlocker and an extra nut on the first set of lug nuts to lock them on the rod. A tack weld would do the job too.

Dual rear wheels on a BX

Looking around a bit, I found this inexpensive kit: https://www.millertire.com/products/wheels-rims/wheels-by-type/parts/spacers/26x-12-00-12-dual-wheel-kit-with-14-bolts/ The spacer seems to sit just inside the edge of the rim, so it doesn't have to be nearly as long. It bolts up through the...

Dual rear wheels on a BX

About to follow @GreensvilleJay 's setup. Not because of tipping over, but to reduce ground pressure on muddy waterlogged clay. The concern about force on the axle makes partial sense. The total force on the axle is no different, since the weight of the tractor stays the same. However, there's...

    Offset flail mower on BX23S?

Hello, Titan Attachment makes a 48" offset flail mower that looks like power requirement is in the ballpark for the BX23S. https://www.palletforks.com/tractors/3-point/mowers/flail/titan-3-point-offset-flail-ditch-bank-mower/FLAILDB-GROUP.html Currently sold out but should be available again in...

    BX23S new owner questions

I've probably heard both then. Usually the first, but maybe the second scenario the few times I asked for more than it could give. Oh, I've had to do those. Making the butt scoot over sideways with the backhoe helped, but last time I got really deep in the wet clay nothing helped. I got ramps...
