    BX 2370 brake repair

Hi all. I don't see any threads here about replacing the wet brakes on a 70 series transmission. Has anyone done it or can you refer me to a manual. The shop manual doesn't go into detail. Thanks.

    BX2230 Power steering hose replacement

I couldn't find anything on this in this forum. How do I replace the power steering hoses on the front wheels? I traced the 4 hoses under the dash and 2 go up front and 2 go to the transmission. I don't see a way to unscrew the front right fitting unless maybe lowering the front axle. Any...

Custom rear forks for the BX 3 point hitch using a Titan receiver

I wanted to buy rear mounted forks to move things around the property on a pallet. My first need was to move a refrigerator to the rear of the house into the basement. I searched the net and couldn’t find any. Surely Titan made them, but no. I already had a Titan 2” Receiver Hitch mounted to...

How much weight can a BX 1870 move without harm

I wanted to move my trailer loaded with coal off the asphalt driveway. Total weight about 5000 pounds. There was little tongue weight and I attached the hitch to my front 2” ball. With full RPMs, my BX1870 seemed to struggle moving up a very slight incline so I disconnected it after a few...

    BX quick attachments

I ordered a front end loader for my BX1870. I want to use a bucket and forks so I would like a quick attach feature. According to the Kubota dealer, I will have to buy a coupler (quick attach) and a NEW bucket, made to QA, because the stock bucket will not quick attach. So, the factory...

    Oil change recommendation on BX1870

The manual calls for an oil change every 200 hours. The Kuboda dealer also agrees and also says to use 15W-40 diesel type engine oil. That will be about 4 years between oil changes at the rate I use it. This seems too long to me. What's the consensus in the forum?

Making a rear ballast for my BX1870. Weight opinion?

I am making a rear weight ballast on my BX1870 for FEL use, mostly for snow. At this point, I can still reduce the form to make it lighter. With the weight of the quick hitch, the steel framework for the pins and 2.5 cubic feet of concrete, it will come in around 450#. Is this too much...

Chains to use the front end loader in snow

I have a BX1870 and am preparing for snow removal with the loader. I don't see a problem using chains on the rears, but how can they be used on the front wheels since the steering arm is so close to the wheel. I've seen the word spacers, but are chains unnecessary anyway.

    Non-stock wheel sizes

Hello all. I just bought a BX1870. I came across an old post about non-stock wheel sizes and the warnings. Besides larger or smaller rims and tires having clearance problems with implements, the thread indicated issues with the drivetrain. In 2 wheel drive, I wouldn’t see an issue, but in...
