    b1400 wheel spacers

you can turn the tyres around on the hubs and run them quite wide with the factory setup. this works for the rears, but the fronts will catch the clutch pedal. No idea where to get spacers for them im afraid other than getting something fabricated.

    Clutch help

Thanks Russell, Yes ive been in the inspection bolt on the clutch housing. no fluids, no excessive dust. Having already squeezed 5mm out of the travel on the pedal. I think I'm reluctantly approaching splitting territory.

    Clutch help

Thanks for all the replies: just an update to the thread. I dropped the loader bracket the other day and adjusted the clutch. A few turns on the shaft and I have a working clutch again for now at least. Is it normal to need to adjust the clutch as it wears? or is this an indication that its on...

    Clutch help

You’re right, I absolutely don’t want to split it. It’ll be a last resort. But I’m equipped enough to get it done. The clutch only started slipping a week ago. I’ll drop the loader brackets and try to adjust the present clutch before splitting the beast.

    Clutch help

Away for Easter at the moment but when I get back I’ll remove the loader arms and have a fiddle. I think It’s fair to say the clutch hasn’t been adjusted since the loader was fitted by the previous owner if ever at all. Assuming the clutch pedal was badly adjusted and the throw out bearing is...

    Clutch help

The clutch on my kubota is on the way out. I’ve only had the tractor 6 months. It won’t drive in any of the high range gears anymore. It does move in low range a bit but doesn’t like to do much work before the clutch slips. I notice there isn’t much free play in the pedal. I know spec calls...

    2k Kubota paint

I'm by no means an expert, but have dabbled with painting bits on cars. The 2k finish in my experience is harder, smoother, flatter, just generally better. i suspect it'll last longer too. I admit i haven't tried the kubota 1k enamel as yet.

    2k Kubota paint

My experience of car paint has been that nothing touches the finish of 2k. Does anyone know of any 2k paint in kubota orange? can't seem to find anything. Thanks

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Thanks for that. Does this mean my 3 point currently isn't getting full power? This explains (I think) why my loader was raising slightly (v slowly) when I was picking up something heavy with my 3point the other week.

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Firstly Hokie I really appreciate your help on this. I didn't realise my loader was tapped into the 3 point pressure line. Is it fair to say that the 3pt is currently connected to the power beyond on my loader valve already then? The hydraulics all seem to work fine at the moment. I'm pretty...

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Thanks for this Hokie, Pretty sure i understand what you are saying. So when the backhoe is disconnected i just disconnect it and then reconnect the 2 loose hoses together. cheers Dan

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

The B1400 Being a grey market import to the UK is a nightmare to find manuals on. I think the B7200 is about as close to it as i can find, but it's not identical. Ive attached a copy of the Hydraulic system on the B7200. it appears to be very similar to mine albeit mine is NOT HST. The loader...

Hi Hokie, thanks for helping. The return goes Here!

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Wise words Dave, the backhoe has its own valves. so I don't really need a valve function on the remote. I am considering for simplicity to just pull the pressure side off the tipping trailer port. the 3 point will be off when the backhoe is on anyway. My understanding is I would need to engage...

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Ive just posted some photos showing the loader's pressure connection to the hydraulic pump. The loader valve tank return is shown in pic 2 on the thread. It has a red circle around it.

    Adding remote hydraulics to B1400

Ive attached a few pics of the control valve, if anyone can help identify if this has or could have power beyond i would be very grateful.
