That makes sense. Bigger tractors could likely more easily damage the bucket.

    Loader bucket recommendations

I have the light material bucket on my LA535. There isn’t a single thing that I have tried to do, that it doesn’t do. It was recommended by the dealer. It has a bunch of extra space and I have had it filled to the top with everything from #2 stone for driveway, crush/run, top soil, fill dirt...

    LX2610 rear remote size

I wanted to update folks on this. I ordered 1 rear remote for my LX on Friday from my dealer, and it came in today (following Thursday). Less than a week turnaround time for rear remotes. Seeing other threads it seems folks have been waiting on rear remotes for months, so I was surprised it came...

    LX2610 rear remote size

I’d love to do it this way. Did you fabricate your own mounting bracket? If not, where did you get it?

    LX2610 rear remote size

Yes - that was the plan. I think maybe I should go shorter to your point

    LX2610 rear remote size

Thanks. This was the idea I was favoring most. Making 3ft hoses with 1/4 at one end and 1/2 on the other.

    LX2610 rear remote size

This is a great video. I've asked him and the company he mentioned for the list of parts used so that I can order the same.

    LX2610 rear remote size

Thanks that makes sense. This LX was my first tractor, and I wish I had ordered more things up front instead of installing them later (3rd function, rear remotes, canopy, etc.)

    LX2610 rear remote size

Thanks for the picture. This is helpful. I do plan to use 1/4" where I can. But I also rent a fertilizer spreader in the fall which has 1/2" connectors, and didn't want to alter the rented spreader, so was thinking a hose with 1/4" on one side and 1/2" on the other. For you specifically, did...

Good idea. I think I was trying to make this more complicated than it was.

    LX2610 rear remote size

Hi all, I’m adding a rear remote to my LX2610SU.My understanding is that the OEM rear remotes for the ROPS units have 1/4” connections. What is the easiest way to convert them to 1/2” standard connections? I would think a 12-24” hose where one side has 1/4” and the other side has 1/2” would be...

    LX2610 front loader issue

Thanks for the tips everyone. I'm going to try to rotate the 3rd function switches first. If that doesn't help, then I'll add a disable switch.

    LX2610 front loader issue

Yup! That was definitely it. I was hitting the 3rd function and not feeling it because I had gloves on. Hasn't happened since I've been paying more attention. Thanks again all.

    LX2610 front loader issue

Thanks for the replies. I’m going to disconnect and reconnect the hoses. That YouTube video is interesting. Specifically the comments in the responses that say the person may accidentally activating the 3rd function hydraulics while raising the loader. It’s possible this could be happening to...

    LX2610 front loader issue

Hi folks, My front loader stops at certain points when moving up. I have no idea what is causing it. It’s fully greased and not carrying anything. I can lower the loader a little then try again, and it usually works the second try. It will stop at a few feet off the ground. Then again at about...

    Slip clutch maintenance

I understand the desire to remove it completely. My concern with doing that is that it also keeps water off the slip clutch, which would cause it seize up and need to be re-slipped in the first place. I guess if you keep it inside, it isn't a concern, but I keep mine outside.

    Slip clutch maintenance

Hi folks, I have an RCR1860 with a slip clutch. There is a large shield around the slip clutch which makes it very difficult to service, even with the small cutouts on the side. I’ve searched this forum, and it appears some people have removed the cover permanently. I don’t think I want to do...
