    Diesel Anti Gel preference

Last winter wasn't very cold, but we've already had 4 days below freezing here in South Carolina. I suspect this will be a cold winter, so I would like to add some anti-gel so I can keep the tractor running smoothly. What is your preferred anti-gel and why?

Replacing hydraulic fluid on an L3901 HST

I have never encountered a more annoying job than refilling the hydraulic fluid on an L3901HST when doing a filter and fluid change. I didn't have any help and spilled what looked like an ocean (but was probably a quart). Just saying, there has to be another place to put that fill cap.

Wheel spacers for adjustable sway bars

I added adjustable sway bars on my L3901, and as expected they hit the R4 tires. I thought this might happen. Do I need 2 inch or 4 inch wheel spacers to make these fit without touching the tires? Who do you recommend that may have them in stock. I'm not interested in being on a wait list...

Questions about installing a Summit 3rd Function Kit

I'm putting a Summit 3rd function kit on my L3901. The loader is an Ansung and not a Kubota so that is a complication. I have a few questions: 1: The hoses from Summit have O rings. Should I use teflon tape as well or just the O ring? 2: Does the valve supplied by Summit have to be...

    Third function

I have an L3901 with an Ansung 2454C front end loader. I want to add a third function kit. The dealer is 1.5 hours away, and I don't have a trailer. He wants $1200 installed, or $1100 for the parts. I looked at Summit, but they do not specifically say they have a direct kit for the loader...

    50 hour maintenance?

I have an L3901 HST that is on the cusp of 50 hours. I've read the owner's manual, and it appears that there is no scheduled maintenance until 100 hours. I've seen videos on YT about people changing all of the fluids and filters in their tractors at 50 hours. Do I need to do anything other...

    L3901 power steering leak

I have a leak at the top of the power steering box on my L3901. Pretty sure it's just the return line has a loose clamp, but it's buried under the radiator. Am I missing something obvious about how to reach this silly clamp to tighten it up? Do I have to remove the radiator to access this...
