You can see where, how the step broke by zooming into where it bolts on. Broke sideways; meaning brace would not have stopped it. Brace put on in recall 2010 did not help. Warning: This could happen to you w/serious consequences. Kubota needs to recall & fix this problem before someone gets killed.

Brace for the step (recall M5040D Tractor) did not have but one bolt in it so it turned sideways
