    Check Valve for Tilt Cylinder

The picture on the right is what I am interested in. I think I can overcome the #6 port if I can find a DPOCV that is small enough.

    Check Valve for Tilt Cylinder

Number 2 would be my preferred method. So far I have not found anything sold in the northern hemisphere that is small enough to fit in-between the ports.

    Check Valve for Tilt Cylinder

I am looking for a source for a double inline check valve for my 2x8 tilt cylinder with #6 sae ports, 6" center. My google fu is not good on this one.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

Just measured it and the factory banjo bolt at the loader valve is 3/4-16. Post above has been corrected.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

Photos of the third function. I picked up a keyed 12v source for the third function diverter valve at the rear tail light wiring.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

These are misc photos through completion. On the ROPS mounted valve the return to tank is 1/2" ID fuel hose. That hose Tee's into the hose on the loader valve to tank. I used a 1/2" pex tee with band clamps.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

(edited to correct loader valve PB port thread size) I finished up the project but didn't have time to post as I went along so below is recap. Tilt cylinder installed The rod end for the top link was too large to fit where it attaches to the tractor. I had to grind about 3/16" off the...

    DIY Straw Bucket

Currently taking them to a local composter. Most people around here burn them once fire season ends. When we bought the property 3 years ago it had not been well maintained past the irrigated areas so the duff and undergrowth was pretty thick in some places. Every year we expand the areas we...

    DIY Straw Bucket

Yes I can see the outside tines. Really nice to be able to see the angle in relation to the ground unlike using the standard bucket with clamp-on debris forks.

No hand work picking up. That was the whole point of building it. :)

    DIY Straw Bucket

Thanks bird dogger! Blue was the only color I had enough of and I didn't want to drive to town. It would have been pink if that's all I had LOL!

    DIY Straw Bucket

We have loads of leaves and pine needles. I had been using clamp-on debris forks but they didn't work that that great. The tines were too big to penetrate the debris piles well. I fabricated this one using a SSQA back plate, 3/4" & 1" black pipe, 3/4" x 36" concrete form stakes for the tines...

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

The clevis on the shaft was made from 3 pieces.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

Here is the modified Tilt Cylinder. I used a 2" x 4" stroke welded clevis cylinder. The side link has about 3-1/2" of adjustment. The modified cylinder is about 3/8" longer than the side link when both are fully retracted. I had a screwup when doing the final weld on the shaft. I was in...

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

I need to make a correction to my first post. I was calling the inlet to the 3-point hydraulics the tank port. That is not correct. The Power Beyond port from the loader valve goes to the 3-point hydraulics. The tank inlet is on the side of the transmission.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

You are correct. The banjo bolt on the 3-point hydraulic inlet is BSPP 1/4. The B2301 & 2601 use a BSPP 3/8.

    B2401 Aux Hydraulics Project

Now that we have completed our move and I have my shop mostly organized I am able to start on installing the aux hydraulics. I am installing a third function for a grapple and a valve for top & tilt and one rear remote. The third function kit if from Summit and it is for the B2601. I took a...

    B2401 pricing (Central Florida)

I have the BB1254 and it works fine. The B2401 has plenty of grunt. Weight is more of a limitation where you will get wheel spin on a hard pull. I don't think the BB1260 would be a problem but I prefer the BB to be closer to the width of the tractor. My straw rake is 60" and I occasionally rub...
