3 point lever not staying in place

I had a similar problem with my B7200. As well as being loose, mine also leaked oil out the control arms of the 3 point control unit. Mine has a nut one the end of the control arm along with 3 spring washers. This nut kept coming loose reducing the pressure on the springs that helped to tighten...

    B7200 hydraulic steering parts breakdown

I agree with the pressure being low as it is connected to the cooler with a rubber hose. I'm thinking about lowering it below the hydraulic unit with soft copper that i can bend into fit.

    B7200 hydraulic steering parts breakdown

Thank you for the picture. Its worth a thousand words 1942 lol . I'm thinking about cutting out a length of the steel pipe and replacing it with copper that I can bend myself. I would run it below the hyd. unit. The steel pipe is connected to the cooler with a rubber hose and clamps so there...

    B7200 hydraulic steering parts breakdown

Good morning: Its great to find someone who actually installed one, I'm surprised. I'm also curious as to where your line was in relation to the unit. Did you remember if you had to re-arrange the location of the line and if so how. I gather by your comment, you don't have the B7200 any longer...

    B7200 hydraulic steering parts breakdown

Thank you for your response, I'm sure you are right about the rare part and the pressure as there is only a hose and a regular gear clamp holding the line onto the cooler and I'm sure the pipe is not even barbed under the hose. You have given me some options and I appreciate it. Thank you Don

    B7200 3 point hitch control

Thank you Dan for the copies out of your WSM. These are definitely not in my copy of the WSM. I have a feeling that your copy has much more detail then mine. I downloaded a copy out of Kubota books for the B7200HST. I was also able to turn the pages around and print both sides. The problem...

    B7200 3 point hitch control

Just a follow up, I backed off the drop speed valve by two turns to answer other members suspicions with no results. With the tractor running, I backed off the banjo bolt on the inlet and oil began to flow. I was waiting for the possibly of a high pressure leak and getting sprayed, no spray just...

    B7200 3 point hitch control

Just to be clear, The only parts that went to dealer for repair was item 020 control cover with shaft control levers item 340 and 360 still installed to have the o rings replaced as they were the only things leaking. The control leaver that was attached to the control arm was very sloppy. This...

    B7200 3 point hitch control

That makes sense. In reference to your last post, I sent in the Control valve only. as it was the only thing leaking. I am not sure what the position control valve looks like. I haven't found that description in my parts breakdown. Don

    B7200 3 point hitch control

Good morning all. I am sure the drop speed valve is or was in an almost closed position from before the repair to slow the hitch down. Pouring rain here right now an unfortunately I have to work outside. I will make sure that valve is wide open to start then adjust accordingly.

    B7200 3 point hitch control

It was the control valve for the three point hitch and you are correct, they did not get the tractor, just the control valve. I call it the control valve because that is the name on the parts breakdown. Reference page 01T066 of the parts manual

I had my 3 point hitch repaired at my local Kubota dealer. Everything was originally working at the time I removed the control I have change all the oil and cleaned all filters.
