Took the Mud ball (a b7100 with turf tires and chains) up into the woods to get firewood. It did okay in the 10” snow.

White tiger said that the b7100 has the nut. Now all I have to do is climb under it! Beats taking things apart.

Hi all, My "new" B7100 has movement towards and backwards at the pivot point, when you turn the wheel. If you put in a spacer/shim at the pivot point, would you put it towards the front or rear?

Why do they use calcium? There's got to be something that's not so corrosive. Ethylene glycol, propylene glycol?. I mean they make food grade propylene glycol.

I'll have to figure what the original ratio is but I may be able to use chains on the front. As far as the draw bar goes, I understand. Thinking about the 3 point hitch, I could see where the link would be sharing the pull above the axle. Might be bad for when it's being pushed downhill also...

Not sure what bi-speed turn is. Chains have to be cheaper than ag tires. I'll measure and see if I can get away with that.

Looking again, I think the D650/B6100 is done. The head is very pitted in the combustion chamber area and then there is the cracked block on top that I was going to try and TIG. I'll end up parting it out. Nice tractor to. What a loss.
