I was told by a Kubota tech, the seat adjustment limit is for 225 pounds.

As luck would have it, I had a Kubota tech at the house today to repair a squeaky seat in a new L4060/cab. During the service visit he said the seats are good up to 225 pounds. I happen to be 250. I bottom out once in awhile but not continuously. I guess there are not to many heavy Japanese.

The tech was here today. He took apart the flex skirt around the seat to expose multiple horizontal mounted springs and sprayed them with a waxy/oily spray. I took it for a ride over a frozen pasture with not a single squeak. I’m very happy. Thanks to all for the advice.

I trade in my tractors ever 10 years at approximately 1500 hours. Just got my third one, a 4060 cab. Never replaced a battery. They start at 15 below using just the glow plugs. Kubota supplies pretty good batteries.
