    B1400. What is this?

My plan is on hold at the moment but i will crack on when i get time. I intend to cut into the pressureline coming from the engine that runs by your right foot. I will divert the flow to a manifold that i will mount on the right rear fender and then route it back to the same pressure line. In...

B6000E bogging down under any load especially with my pto/belt driven woods belly mower (304k)

It sounds exactly like a problem i had with a borrowed tractor. On examination it was a clogged fuel filter and bits in the lines from the tank when it had been run dry, unknown to me, a couple of days before i picked it up. Every line cleaned through and filter replaced, luckily that cured it.

    B1400. What is this?

Hello all, I had the seat off today and was wondering what this plate with the bulge is and what the orange painted bolt is for. I am pondering the idea of hydraulic connectors as the tractor has none so am trying to work out what everything is and does and whether i can tap in any where. In...

    Crime

Leave yourself open to crime through a negligent attitude and take no responsibility? There are occasions where a victim is such because of their own choices. They are not to blame for the others actions but they clearly can be accountable for enabling them.

Firewood, What do you burn and how long do you season it.

I tried 9 months but i found a massive difference in heat output and clean burning from that extra bit. Dryer the better.

Firewood, What do you burn and how long do you season it.

Mainly Oak and Chestnut. I leave it for 12 months to burn and it is always dry. The air here though is dry and that makes a difference.

Clearly he did not deserve to be robbed, i suspect he has always lived his life this way. It is clear though that you have no regard for simple crime prevention and good luck to you.

equitable way to purchase and/or share implements with neighbor

I wouldn't. A good friend loaned me his mini digger, by the time i had done the job i had fully serviced it replaced a track and mended various parts it would have been cheaper to hire one. This from a friend who expressed suprise saying it was in excellent order and always well serviced. The...

    Crime

I would not say without all the facts. But, we live in a world with scumsuckers and leeches so if you choose to leave your house unlocked then that is your choice. Yes a victim can be a victim purely because of their poor choices. Make wise choices and the likelyhood of being a victim goes down...

    Crime

No to either of your examples. They are not realistic. And a bit silly. I am not saying be pro active in dealing with criminals but to be realistic that they are out there lurking to be shitbags as that is what they do and not make yourself a victim needlessly. Lock your doors, do not walk a...

    Crime

I hear that a lot. It really is horseshit. The world is a dangerous place. We all need to take and accept responsibility. Sometimes a victim is a fool and by their stupid and ignorant actions they suffer. I agree they are not to blame for anothers actions that pond dweller is to...

    Crime

Very sorry to hear about this and scumsuckers that steal like this need more than a solid kick in the nads. But, if we leave doors open and keys out then life is easy for them. We do not live in a pefect world and i hope your friend now gets security conscious as these thieves will very often...

"I don't read and I'm proud of it"

No one should be proud of being deliberately lazy, yet they are. I read, all the time. I am also working on stuff all the time. The old adage of 'do nothing of no value' applies. How many waste their time and complain they have no time?

    B7100 ignition switch help

I think only the originals fit the hole perfectly. And with the age of your 7100 they are probably not available. My B1400 is the same and i just bought a generic switch with the lock rings that go either side of the panel. I did though have to fit a largerwasher on the outside of the panel to...

    3 point hitch centre shaft

In the b7100 it is a free sliding bar so it should just slide out. Try putting a pin in the hole in the end and tapping that also to get the bar to turn, that along with any penetrating fluid may break the rust/ crud seal.
