@steuny did you get the deck mounting figured out?

A question for those with an MX5400/6000 with cab and A/C or similar tractor.

Looks like bolt #180 would be used to get pulley closer to belt. Bracket and all would rotate.

No idler on my rops. Not even the bracket. That large boss just to left of belt is threaded.

Brand new F2690 with no answers in manuals

With your deck being a 60, they may not be needed. I think that quick hitch will need removed before deck can go on… Hope that wasn’t a selling point at the dealer. I don’t know as I’ve never dealt with one, our 4 F’s only have decks.

You do not need that quick hitch for just a deck. It is for snowblowers and such, I believe. On our 72” decks, there is a lift bar that is clipped across that front rectangle tubing, that will unlatch the lift assist cylinder, then the deck can be tilted up once a few pins are pulled on the...

Depending on the model of that Woods cutter, that easily ~$3k right there. Woods is a very high quality cutter.

M5N-091.... someone screwed up and it wasn't me.

True. And I’m on your side here, as most competent wrench spinners would see a security torx or lock tab and think, hmm… maybe I’m not supposed to remove that for regular service, yet many still do. I probably would have removed that bolt too, thinking it was the check or drain. As it is in...

M5N-091.... someone screwed up and it wasn't me.

One would think. I’m saying even if there was a lock tab on that bolt, someone working on it, in the heat of battle, would grab a punch and hammer to bend that tab back and remove bolt.

Sorta like the tamper proof torx they put on the injection pump, that people still remove?

    Home Brew Pressure gauge setup

https://www.boltonhooks.com/hydraulic-tools/ Buy this. When shopping for a gauge to check my pressure, I couldn’t build this for what it cost from Ken. Even without the hose I was still over. Plug into a loader QC and test away.

That lever you are touching is the fuel shut off. The longer lever is the throttle. Does it not do anything?

    L2501 Hydraulics issue

Are you talking about the front loader “arms” or the rear 3 point arms? I can see some possible confusion in the replies.

    Third function for B2601/LA435

So strange that some Kubota kits have hard lines and some don’t. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Third function for B2601/LA435

I have installed 2 summit kits, one on a LX and on a MX. Very straight forward. The only concern about the rear remotes is they are electronic controlled valves, think off or on, no real feathering them if that will matter. The kit from kubota “should” have hard lines that run down the boom...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Is it a jet ski? I bet it’s a jet ski.
