What’s the difference in left/right auger on F5220 snowblower.

In the picture that Dustball posted, the augers are out of sync with each other. One auger should be turned 180 degrees to the other so they bring the snow to the middle evenly. The way they are now, it will bring the snow to the middle in surges.

    Greasing your machine....The hate/hate relationship.

When I have to grease my tractor FEL and attachments I go around with a Q tip and a box of Kleenex to clean all the recessed zerks before getting the grease gun out. Both are cheap and when filled with grease, get tossed in a bucket. I find that it is much quicker to grab another Kleenex when...

    Home Generator Oil Heaters

I went out to check as I can’t remember stuff like that, Ive used Mobile 1 5w30 from the first day. We don’t have nearly the number of power failures since they ran new line underground up the county road. They were very frequent when the lines ran overhead. Lots of critters and downed trees...

    Home Generator Oil Heaters

Although my 11kw propane powered Generac has started at -20 F, it took a couple attempts at it but did start. I now turn the auto start feature off when it drops below zero just cause I think it is too hard on the engine to ask it to go from a cold start to full rpm in just a few seconds. I...

    Air Inlet Pipe Deformation?

I remove the intake during winter months, as well as installing a set of covers from bird dogger, and I no longer have any problems with ice build up in the filter, and the covers keep my tractor at the proper operating temp to keep me nice and warm in my cab. Unfortunately I have yet to use my...

    Winter ???

Northern Minnesotan here, had a brown Christmas, maybe three inches of snow all season, and haven’t used the snowblower on my tractor since I put it on two months ago. Forecast has no significant amount of snow in the next week. We are going to get some colder temps, but none of the minus...

    B2650HSDC Recall Notice

I have had NO contact from my dealer since I last posted on this thread. I was told at the time that they would not provide me with the hydraulic line so that I could replace it myself. That it could only be done at the dealer, and they would do it when they were in the area. Normally I would...

So how can I get these logs cut up?

If you are talking about cutting cookies, any guy with a sawmill could cut them in short order. If you wanted small flat boards, that same sawmill may turn you away as most sawmills are not setup to cut anything much shorter than 3-4 feet long. It can be done, but it’s much more involved. If...

PTO engagement levers and large butts.

First thing I do with a new pair of Carhartts is cut the hammer loop off. In the past I’ve caught it on too many things that have caused problems, and not once have I ever had a hammer in one so off they come.

How Much Fluid Will I Need To Add A Third Function And Attachment?

I don’t know what a gallon jug of Super UDT2 will cost you, but just yesterday I picked up a 5 gallon pail of it at my dealer for $140.00 Up $15.00 from the last time about two years ago.

    Hydraulic operated dump trailer

I have had the King Kutter dump trailer for about a year and a half. It takes 31 pumps of the handle to fully raise the box. The hand pump lasted about 8 months before I decided to upgrade to a 12v battery operated pump. I also use a tag axle, as the suspension of the ATV can’t handle the...

Rear Cab LED Lights, LX2610 Cab

I checked my past Amazon orders, and this is the one I put on the front end. It was 32” wide. https://a.co/d/f6Nvznu

    Yellow Dipstick

I had the same problem with not being able to see the fluid on the yellow stick. Another member on this site recommended scuffing the end of the dipstick with sandpaper. Problem solved. Did it to both the transmission and front axle dipsticks.

Took Possession of My New Tractor

Make sure you check all your fluids, as the dealer may not have topped off the front axle, or transmission. Mine were both low, and the dealer was nice enough to send me a gallon of UDT2.

Do you all remember your first concert

Yup, it was August 5th 1967. My sister and I went to see The Monkees in St Paul. I was 11, and my sister was 12, and we went unescorted 😱😱. Dad dropped us off, and we were told to wait in the same spot when the concert was over to pick us up. We sat in the nose bleed section, and once they...

Having a hard time getting attachments on

Even if everything is lubed and done correctly, I find installing the pto on my wood chipper a pita. I’m just barely strong enough to hold the shaft in position, push the button and have the splines line up with each other. It doesn’t help that I have a quick hitch on my 3 pt. It just seams to...

    Grapple jaws not holding

All of my equipment is different than yours, but my grapple will lose its grip over time. If I carry anything for a distance I have to touch the close button every so often to get a better bite. I’ve never dropped a load because of it, it’s just something I have learned to watch for.

    Homemade Hydraulic Decompression Tool

Just used mine again the other day. Had taken the grapple off to use the forks, and by the time I got back to putting the grapple on, the sun had moved enough so the grapple wasn’t in the shade. It pressurized the hoses to the point I had to pull out my tool to relieve the pressure.

Insight gained after making an operating mistake

I think tractors are like sawmills, any sawyer that says he hasn’t sawed into his backstop is stretching the truth. I have the same thing happen on my tractor, you think you have enough room, but you’re not quite sure, but you go ahead anyway. Then oops😱, and then you wonder why you didn’t...

    B2650 with BH77 seat swapout

Not if you have a cabbed B2650, then you have no choice, you get one seat for the b77 and one inside the cab with no way to operate the b77 from inside the cab
