    FEL legs on b2601

I kept having issues with the right side pin that keeps the FEL legs up on my tractor. The pin would bend or loosen up and fall. Yesterday it happened again and the leg came off as I was pulling a tree with the bucket so the leg bent while it was dragging on the ground. The hell with this, I...

    BH70 lever broke

I'm surprised this thing broke. We all have the habit of pulling harder on the lever to get more power out of the machine, even if we all know it makes no sense. But to the point of shearing the bolt? I didn't know this was possible. It happened while digging out a stump. I was almost there. I...

Can someone post pics of SSQA converted bucket?

I'd like to see what it looks like, specifically on a B2601 or any other 54" bucket. The weld-on plate looks bigger than the bucket and it seems like it would stand out higher than the top of the bucket. Also, I'm not sure how high it should be welded. A few pictures could help me figure out...

    SSQA compatibility

Will a ssqa bucket / fork / blade or other fit on any tractor equiped with a ssqa? For example, the same forks could be used on a b2601, L25, LX26 .... I guess that's the whole point of having SSQA. Obviously sharing buckets on a b2601 and L01 wouldn't make much sense, but will it work?

    Trying to understand specs

I'm currently thinking about getting a bigger tractor and I'm trying to understand the specs. I'm looking at lx2610, and l3902. I know they're very different but it's just to understand. First thing I see is that the 3902 is much heavier. So to me it means the tractor is more stable when...

    Sorting my rocks collection

Is there anything more relaxing than this? After a week of work (desk job), I sit on the backhoe and sort rocks.

Part does not have a part number

I broke a grease fitting in one of the pivot pins on my loader (LA435). So I guess I need to replace the pin. Problem is I can't find the part number. The diagram doesn't list a part number. Anyone can help me identify this? part circled in red.

    Redoing the driveway

New project starting today I was tired of blowing gravel all over the place in winter so i'm going with recycled asphalt. I borrowed a box scraper from a guy nearby. It's my first time using one of those. The plan is to scrape it all, move it in a pile in the backyard. Then I'll get about...

    488cad for spacers?

I ordered chains for my rear wheels on my b2601. I was quoted 420$ CAD for the chains. Pretty good I think since it's about half of what canadachains.ca wants. I'm still waiting for the dealer to receive them. I'm not sure I'll need spacers but I decided to add some in my order just to make...

    Hydraulic chute build

I've seen a few threads around here about people adding hydro chute rotation on their snowblower. Last year I did it with a car seat motor. But as many have mentioned, it's not a reliable solution. So I'm back to the drawing board this year. I decided to get a hydraulic motor at princess auto...

    Need info about valves

Hi, I'm looking at getting a 2 spool valve with power beyond. I found this: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B07SPBWGKB#Ask 100$cad is very cheap so I'm not sure why that could be. PrincessAuto will sell them for at least 300$. Any concerns? Also, it is not clear if PB is available on this one...

    Another aux valve thread

Last year I posted about a project where I rigged something up to get a rear valve hooked up on my backhoe's hydro lines. This works fine but it obviously means that the backhoe can't be used while the valve is hooked up. So I'm not thinking about making a permanent installation. I believe my...

    Backhoe / Snowblower dolly

I've seen a few people build dollies for their BH and I'd like to build one too. I have a few questions though. The dollies on bxpanded are for BX, but I have a BH70. About solidity, I'm worried about the force that will get applied on it while pushing down on it with the bucket when removing...

    Rust on hydraulic lines

My tractor has 146h on it and less than 2yo (so still under warranty). I noticed that the hydro line on the FEL are getting rusty. This is probably due to salt on roads last winter. Is this considered "normal" ? Should I be worried? I will obviously need to replace those at some point, but...

    B2601 rear lights wiring colours

I think I messed up. I was removing my worl lights and now I dont know how connect things back together. I'm trying to connect the rear lights. They have a black, green, yellow wire harness and I dont know how to hook them up to the power feed. I guess they are daisy-chained together. Anyone has...

    Garage/Workshop Build

This winter I started planning my new garage build. I currently have a 8x12 shed in my backyard and wanna replace it with a 26x24 garage. I plan on using this to park the tractor and implements (backhoe, snowblower and ciment mixer). I'm planning on using this thread to post my progress until...

    Welding 1045 steel

Hi, I'm really just starting to learn how to weld and I'd like to know if I'm supposed to be able to weld something like this: https://www.princessauto.com/en/w-series-weld-on-hubs/product/PA1000001384 It says it's 1045 steel. I have a low budget canadian tire flux core welder. Is that gonna...

    Extra electrical circuit

I'm reading a few post around here about work lights and exrra dedicated circuit. I'd like to see if what I'm summing up from all this is right. Basically, I'm adding a motor and actuator to my snowblower. This guys pull a lot of amps, specially when the motor is blocked because of the end of...

    My failed wood chipper project

I saw a few videos of people making their own wood chipper and I decided I'd try to make one using stuff I already have. I recently made a log splitter that works great and decided I'd integrate the chipper on it. But that project has failed so I thought I'd share my experience. Here's a video...

    PTO protection

My question is specific for the B2601 but I guess an answer would be valid for all other tractors. I'd like to know if the PTO is protected internally from something that would jam it. For example, if I have an implement that uses a chain but doesn't have a shear pin, would that be dangerous...
