    BX2680 3-Pt Float

The BX have a "quarter inch" valve for the 3pt instead of a position lever as most tractors ... the default is if the bars are lifted by ground level variation it will then stay at this position, so yes you will have to press down on the lever again and again and there's not much that can be done.

Plowing up to 2’ drifts with my Kubota bx

I prefer my snowpusher ... way more efficient than the bucket for frequent snowfalls ;-) https://youtu.be/JBP_iBw8nBQ

    Cheap tie-points on BX1870-1

Added tie-points on my BX1870-1 ... 5000# standard bolt-on d-rings that almost perfectly fit the existing bolts over the front wheels ... only had to enlarge holes of +/- 1/16. At 6$ each can't expect better for the price ;-)

    bx ballast box

I do have a 330 pounds homemade concrete block on my BX1870 and it's good enough.

    60" snow pusher on bx1880.

I have a 54" snowpusher (HLA 1500 model) on my BX1870 and would not go larger. The power is not the issue over the traction if you have heavy snow particularly. With the 54" it's perfect but larger than that I think it would give me more troubles than advantages. If you plan to use chains it may...

    BX Snowpusher

Better than I thought. I've pushed 10 inch of fluffy snow all the 100ft of my driveway. It was overflowing for the last 30ft or so but was still pushing. Wet snow could have been more complicated but It would have been able to handle it by taking a couple feet wide at a time. I just forgot to...

    3pt hitch question...

Here's my 175 bucks (including drawbar and hitch post) solution to have a 350+ lbs ballast on my BX1870 :-)

    BX Snowpusher

Simpler but also looks way less sturdier. The open top combined with the small height of the backdrag blade would not work really well in our frequent over 6 inches of snow fall. It also protrude longer in front of the pusher which I don't really like and the non adjustable height of the...

    BX Snowpusher

I've finally received my snowpusher fox my BX1870. WOW what an improvement VS the FEL bucket. It's a 54" HLA 1500 with backdrag function. Actually the backdrag is not usable since they had make a mistake in the bracket design and I can't tilt enough to let the backdrag blade touch the ground...

    Kubota Ballast Box

I've used 5 bags of 30 KG (66 lbs) of premixed concrete so 330 lbs plus the rebar I've throwed in to make sure it won't fall appart if it ever crack and the drawbar / hitch I would guess I'm close to 360 - 370 lbs ... Since I've already own the drawbar and hitch and had the rebar and wood...

    BX23S First Impressions

Removing the backhoe would mean you need to replace it by a ballast box to compensate for FEL weight and prevent rear wheels lifting while lifting charges with the FEL. The thing is the front of the tractor is relatively light so in float mode you don't have most of the FEL loader weigth to help...

    FEL Float Function....

In float mode if the loader face enough resistance the front wheel can effectively lift from the ground. I face this issue regularly. As the rear wheels push the tractor but the loader retain it from getting forward the lift cylinders will retract completely and the front wheels will lift up as...

    Sluggish neutral return in BX

Yes there's some adjustments possible (see owner manual) ... and as 1970CS look for the grease fitting ... it may have been overlooked by the preceeding owner :-)

    BX1880 Power

I have a 1870 which have the same engine that I bought brand new last winter and I did effectively seen a nice power increase after the break-in period. While I found it a bit limit at first in heavy snow or with full auger, since the current winter (50 hours at the meter) it handles any type of...

    Kubota Ballast Box

It doesn't "come with" the loader ... it's to be bought seperately. While not mandatory it's highly recommended to have a ballast while using the FEL. If you plan to have any attachment on the 3 point hitch it can act as the ballast ... in exemple in winter it's my snowblower ;-) For myself...

    LA344s

The LA344"S" is the one with the quick attach for the bucket / implement. If you don't plan to have other implement than the bucket (like pallet forks), no need for the quick attach. And even if you change your mind and buy another item afterward, it's a bit longer to do but not impossible to...
