    Whos into home grown

Since I retired, I grow about 3 or 4 acres of produce every year. I call it a hobby, my wife calls it a habit. Bought my tractor in the fall of 2017, it rolled over 1000 hours yesterday. Took delivery of 200 gallons of fuel yesterday. $3.169 per gallon!

    Gravely side by sides??

I have two Kubota side by sides, they both work hard and have been trouble free for many years. My 900x started yesterday morning at 7 degrees after setting outside all night. It would be hard for me to switch to some other brand.

    Side by Side

I have an RTV-500 and an RTV-X900. Both are used for serious work, and a little deer hunting. We have really heavy and sticky buckshot mud here. Both machines have nearly 700 hours on them. Made first repair last night. Front left wheel bearing on the RTV-500. My next side by side will be...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I made my first repair to my L3901DT yesterday. Ignition switch failed at 875 hours. Found one in stock about a hundred miles away. Had a friend going that way, so by evening had a new switch in hand. Less than ten minutes to install and good as new. I was somewhat shocked by the cost of...

    AMAZING!

My wife and I just finished harvesting our sweet corn. We sold about 15,000 ears. 18 dollars for a bag of 62 ears. 30 cents per ear, with a couple extra.

How many implements do you have?

33 today. Tomorrow, who knows. I bet it won't be any less. I have a problem getting shed of my "good stuff". I just finished my newest piece yesterday. I built a counterweight for the rear of my tractor. It has ten, one hundred pound Farmall suitcase weights on it. I'll put up pictures...

Sayings you remember from years ago

    Armstrong Disc Harrow

I have a 5 foot Armstrong. It gets used a lot. I have broken a couple of blades but that is the only problem I've had. I have about 3 acres that I cleared for food plots. River bottom buckshot, just sheared the trees off at ground level. Not the easiest on a disc, but they will eventually...

    Kubota RTV

I have a RTV500. It's as tough as a nickel steak. We use it to pull a home made 3 1/2 x 5 foot dump trailer. If you pile it high, you can haul 1200 ears of sweet corn in the bed and trailer combined. Some days the wife and I pull several loads. Never a complaint nor any problems with the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had a yellow part lab male (Billy). Big hard headed rascal. Would come across the wire running wide open. Just a few yelps, (dog curses I'm sure) and down the road to see my neighbor's dog. I borrowed a large collar from my brother. Hung it around ole Billy's waist with the probes on...
