    MX5400 wheel weights

If that ad is still up, it's only $40 bucks. As long as the diameter is small enough to fit inside the rim, you could drill new holes to match your pattern. The cheapest I've seen them around here is $250.

L48 - what are the 2 orange knobs on the back of the tractor?

All the above replies are correct, they are for the backhoe. I can never remember which way they are supposed to be and my stickers were illegible when I got my l48. Yours seem to be in decent shape for the most part.

    Kubota RTV900 issues

From left field....... we had a similar issue with a zoom boom at work. I went through the same troubleshooting thinking it was fuel related. Long story short, it was parked on a slightly slope and was a little low on oil. The safety switch was submerged in oil to allow it to start but as soon...

    Off Road Diesel?

If you can't move it back, add spacers and go up. I added 1-1/2" square tube under my seat. It doesn't sound like much but it made a big difference when using my heal on the HST pedal.

Quicktach plate-mounted "scratcher" to clean up gravel ribbon driveway

Just for another option or ideas for mounting, look up 'ratchet rake'. With your score of angle iron you could make something similar.

    Removing top material from driveway…

What about renting a plate compactor to get the final smoothness that you're looking for. It should either break up or drive down the odd high stone that's giving you grief. I'm not familiar with the product you're using, it may need packing also.

    Damaged body work

Not sure about used parts. If you have insurance on your tractor you may want to explore that option... depending on your deductible. I guess it depends how old it is and how fussy you are that it looks like new.

Any reason I shouldn’t buy a 18′ 14K TA CAM Full Deck Tilt

I noticed you're in a snowbelt. It is well worth a little extra to get it galvanized instead of paint. In 5 years there is no comparison!

    Tractor Sputtered and Dies

I'm not familiar with the shape of your fuel tank on the b2650. If you can, try to look to the bottom with a flash light. It's surprising what you can find. I cleaned mine a few years ago, the tractor was 16 years owned by a landscaping company. There was about 1/4" of silt in the bottom, a...

    Tractor Sputtered and Dies

My first thought is pull the fuel filter. Could have ice in it. Been there, seen that.

Kit detent woes - lost balls

Something I've done for years, started at work. I'll cut the outer race of scrap bearings and save the balls. I have a few spray can caps full of various sizes. When I loose a detent ball, I usually have something close enough.

$2.039 a litre for diesel in Nova Scotia. We had 3 hikes in 5 days!

    Examples of Kubota Backhoe Skills

Tractor Chunk, It took a little searching but I new I saw someone with a smaller backhoe. He's since grown in to commercial equipment, so I had to search his videos older than a year old. Hopefully this is close to what you were looking for. He's done some pretty big projects with a small tractor.

    Examples of Kubota Backhoe Skills

Another trick to become smooth, I found by accident. Digging sloppy mud or water from a hole....... without getting yourself wet! The more I concentrated on the levers, the more jerky I was. If I just trusted my hands things got a lot smoother. Like everyone else has said, start slow. It'll...

Post hole digger with down pressure

I don't see how that would add down pressure, unless the lower arms could be locked down somehow. Maybe I'm missing something 😕

Anyone else get excited about snow?

Just turned 48 but yes, I still look forward to playing in the snow. The toys just got bigger and more expensive over the years. Just need to dress warm for the open station. This was after the 3rd dump in 3 weeks. Hard to tell scale in the picture but the banks are 8 ft high.

    Treadle Pedal reverse

Depending on your fab skills and determination, it's possible to add a reverse pedal. This link was 4-5 years ago. I haven't changed mine, I just got used to the heal reverse. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/twin-pedal-mod-b1550.27544/

    Leaky backhoe, normal?

Like already stated, it shouldn't leak that fast. Have you looked for external leaks, wet with oil? I know my cylinder needs rebuilding, the rod is dinged and scratched. But I can pick up an 8' log, get down and chunk it up with the chain saw, climb back up and grab another log, repeat. It has...

    First Kubota for big guy!

I don't have input for tractor model . I bought a used L48TLB, there was no way I could afford new. I'm 6'3", 230lbs, 36inseam, and 14 boot. I found the HST treadle a pain, especially reverse with my heel. While spun in the backhoe position it wasn't much better, short and cramped. The seat...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I'm not familiar with the collar style pto shaft. But if it's not the first time you've struggled with it, it's not going to be the last. Just a suggestion, you might want to take a paint marker or sharpie and mark the "right" collar. Could be arrows, stars, or just a squiggle to jog your...
