    Added brush guard to M7060

I've been moving lots of brush lately and mashed in my grill. Luckily nothing was broken and I straightened out the grill to the point that you wouldn't even notice the damage. It was time to add a little protection to the front end so I welded some flattened expanded metal to the grill guard...

    Kubota M7060 broke- Need help

Maybe I used the wrong terminology but the controls are surrounded by a gray plastic covering . I called that the console. Maybe it has a more official Kubota name.

    Kubota M7060 broke- Need help

Thanks for the replies. Got it fixed. I had to remove part of the console and loader joystick. luckily the console was not 1 piece so I only had to remove part of it. That made it easily accessible. Once that was done the missing bolt was easily replaced using Loctite on both bolts. Not a hard...

    Kubota M7060 broke- Need help

My M7060 is an open station with a 4 speed transmission with high/low range. (8 speed) The problem is that a bolt came out of the linkage that connects the high/low range shifter to the linkage to the transmission. There are 2 bolts on that connection, 1 is gone and the other is loose. It is...

    Sprayer

Thanks for posting info on your sprayer. I've been looking at sprayers for awhile but still not sure which one would be better for me. How many acres do you think you covered with that 50 gallons? How did the boom less perform? Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks

    New M7060 loader issue

I've been wrestling with whether to call and let them know about it or not. I was thinking the dealer might do a follow up call and see how the tractor is doing. At that time I'd let them know that there was actually a problem with their service department and not the tractor.

    New M7060 loader issue

I posted the results on another forum but wanted to post it here. Loader hydraulics update- Maybe my experience with help someone else in a similar situation. Symptom #1- With the bucket sitting flat on the ground, brakes off and at any rpms, the loader would not lift the front of the tractor...

    New M7060 loader issue

Ok, I tried your suggestion. This weekend I took down some old fence and pulled the posts. Using the box blade, I scraped off the top layer of weeds, trash and sod under where the old wire and posts had been, just to clean it up for the new posts and wire. Using the grapple to clean up all...

    New M7060 loader issue

Thanks 243 and mbu for taking the time to test and post the results. From everything I can find, some tractors have this condition and some don't. I've also read where the position of the 3-point position control has had an effect on loader performance. I'll play with it and see if it makes...

    New M7060 loader issue

I'll try to describe the issue in a different way. 1- Loader all the way down, level ground, brakes off 2- Bucket sitting flat on the ground 3- Engine at any rpm 4- Move joystick to the right but NOT fully to the right as to fast dump 5- Bucket tries to tilt forward but it will not As I...

    New M7060 loader issue

Yes, I know about std and fast dump positions already as I also have a L3600 with that feature. My 3600 will quickly raise the front end without even a change in rpms. I had the dealer check it whenever they picked it up last week to fix a non related hydro leak. They said they compared it to...

    New M7060 loader issue

Since tomorrow is a holiday and my dealer will be closed I thought I'd ask here. My tractor has less than 20 hours but it maybe a simple fix. I had used the loader the last couple weeks to move 5x5 round hay bales and everything seemed fine however the only thing I was doing was moving/...

1 grapple for 2 tractors. Is one available?

I've used a EA Wicked 50 grapple on my kubota L3600 for the last several years. It has performed flawlessly on just about everything and is still in excellent condition. I now have an additional tractor, a 70 hp Kubota M7060HD and would like to sell the EA 50 as to have only one grapple to share...

    Kubota insurance

Update- I called and spoke with Debbie this morning and closed the deal on some insurance for my M7060 and loader. I only needed $35,000 worth of coverage (my mistake) so the premium was less at $546 annually. Getting the insurance was painless and everything was handled right over the...

    Kubota insurance

I just received a quote from Ktac insurance for my new M7060 and loader. $41,000 worth of coverage will run me about $650 per year. I haven't done anything yet but I need to go ahead and bite the bullet... just in case.
