How many hours on your tractor.

2017 kubota L3901 hst turned over 650 hours recently. Only problem so far was the seat bracket broke at the hinge. Other than that it’s been an absolutely wonderful tractor.

    51 hours, no regen L4701

My 2017 L3901hst goes anywhere from 30-50 hours between regens. My first regent came at 48 hours. My latest regen was 597 hours and that was out from 557 hours previously.

Modify LA534 Loader frame brackets for B7800HSD

Anything is possible with the right tools and some know how. I’d say if you have a welder and something to cut with to give it a try.

    Tractor Winch

I’ve looked for a good logging winch for the past few years. New ones were always too expensive to justify for the little bit of recreational logging I do for myself and every time I found a good used winch on Craigslist they would sell faster than I could message the owner it seemed. I ran into...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spent the morning uprooting and loading an huge clump of thorn bushed for a guy. Figure a two hour job at least, the L3901 and grapple had it done in one hour!

Need to get yourself some expanded metal welded into your grill guard.

    sgc 0660 landpride grapple

Those don’t look like the hoses that landpride sells with their grapple. They look like hoses that the dealer had made and they made too long. If it were me I would cycle your loader curl function and find out how long your hoses should comfortably be and then have them cut and new ends crimped...

    sgc 0660 landpride grapple

That sounds odd. Can you post a photo of your setup? There should be quick disconnects for the hoses at the cross tube on your loader frame. You should be able to plug and unplug your grapple hoses there. The rest of the third function hoses should run up the loader arm and have a second set of...

    L2501/3301/3901 hours and repairs?

My old L3901DT had 402 hours when I traded it in for me new 2017 L3901hst and I’ve got just about 462 hours on it now. I’ve done a bunch of food plots, road grading, pond and ditch digging and logging with it. both tractors have been absolutely solid with zero issue. A few things I would...

    Rotation of Backhoe

The bh77 backhoe is nice but if you’ve already got the tractor and a mini excavator as well then forget it. You’ll just end up being disappointed. That said I have the BH77 and as far as capability goes, it’s a pretty good setup for most everything.

How many hours on your tractor.

Bought my 2017 L3901HST brand new with .6 hours on it in August of last year and just did the 400 hour service after just over a year of owning it. I’ve done a ton of groundwork at my property which is where most of the hours have gone.

    L2501 rear remotes w/top-n-tilt

I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong but the detent on the top link valve is so that you can put the top link into float.

A Better Seat for a new L series

I’m in the same boat, wanting to upgrade my seat on my L3901. At my dealers recent open house I got to drive a B2650 and took a look at the seat, it’s very comfortable and without actually measuring the seat bolt pattern and brackets appeared to be a direct fit with the standard l series.

Any way to increase rollback angle on bucket?

Unless you have the fabrication skills to move the pin locations on the SSQA you pretty much have to live with it, and yes when you decide you want QA forks, a grapple or other different sized buckets, the SSQA adapter is completely worth the hassle.

    SSQA and BH77 fix

Outrigger pads were bent so I cut them apart, fixed them and reinforced them as well.

    SSQA and BH77 fix

Well, after bending the timing tube between the SSQA brackets more than a few times I finally decided to break out the welder and start getting it fixed. I also took the time to start fixing the outrigger pads on my BH77. I managed to get the pads all fixed today but the SSQA pipe will have to...

    Land Pride grapple

I have the SGC0660 grapple on my L3901 and it will do the job but the smooth times suck. Logs and rocks constantly slip out. The lid bends easily too. I’d go with the EA wicked 55 rake grapple or wicked root grapple if I had to do it again.

    L2501 and QH15

Yes you need to buy the bushings for all your 3pt implements. One word of caution, make sure you don’t take out your tail lights on your fenders with the quick hitch. If you have your top link too short or in the bottom pin location on the tractor side, the quick hitch will lift all the way up...
