    Trailer/tractor/excavator tracking system?

Hey all. Looking for a good solution for tracking multiple pieces of equipment. I used lo-jack years ago on a truck and it worked but took PD a while to track it down. What is latest and greatest tech recommendations. Thoughts on airtags? Would like to be able to program a geo fence and be...

    L6060HSTC Question

interesting SDT, I routinely mow over the height of my hood on my 4060, usually in Medium rabbit, occasionally thick and wet enough to drop into Medium turtle, but rarely slower than 3-4 mph speed. curious if your having some other kind of problem maybe. an additional 20ish hp should be far...

    L6060HSTC Question

I've got a 4060 HST open, with loaded rears, I use a 1872 cutter and live in hilly area, yes, it will have more than enough power. in fact for that you could easily go to an 8 foot cutter with power to spare. you won't be disappointed.

Have a cut. Need other equipment

unfortunately both is kind of not an option...eventually, but not at once.

Have a cut. Need other equipment

yes I have a large brush cutter plus filled rears, it doesn't come up, but on heavier bales you notice when backing up less traction, so you know it's getting light.

Have a cut. Need other equipment

So I've got the L4060 with loader and about a dozen attachments. We know we want either a svl75-2 or a U35-4. But which should we get first to compliment the l4060. Our biggest problem is rocks in soil. The loader on the 4060 does pretty well but has to really work to pop them out of the soil...

    Going crazy over emissions!!

I lug my L4060 plenty, in fact, it's at idle 75% of the time easily of actual running hours. no problems, just run the regen and let the regen cycle complete before turning it off, preferably a little longer than just finishing. think of it like a turbo, or anything mechanical really, you...

    excavators

U35 is a smoking deal on that link. SVL says save 12k, I was told 57k (on a 67k SVL75 locally) so that's a pretty good deal too.

    excavators

a lot of coin for a tremendous amount of hours in my opinion.

    Kubota U35-4 after one year

good to know it doesn't have DPF. definitely want to stay clear of that if possible.

    Kubota U35-4 after one year

yes the operator cabin rotation, not the boom. the boom on the bobcat I used seemed nice and tight but the cabin rotation was ridiculously rapid with a light touch even at lower RPM and had a lot of back and forth play when you stopped it's movement. it made for a slightly messy pile over the...

    Kubota U35-4 after one year

how smooth is the cabin turn when running wide open on throttle? I found the E35 was very jerky with just that motion when trenching, no matter how easy I was with it. curious if this is brand specific, or just not accustomed to the machine or wear on some component being that it was so high...

    Small Business Start-up.

skid without a doubt, add a mini ex with a thumb at least a 2.5 ton if not a 3.5 or 5.5 ton and see what you can really do. I personally thought the 3.5 ton was extremely efficient for it's size. gotta spend money to make money.

    Kubota U35-4 after one year

great review. I wish there was more commentary about their "construction" level stuff vs mostly ag. While I love my 4060, I'll probably be looking to get into either an SSV75 or an SVL75 in the future as well as either a U35 or similar tonage non-zero tail swing. reason being the better...

    Need help deciding.

concur with hokie. B2650 with cab would be just fine and my choice in your situation. if you want bigger, the next option with cab would be a L3560.

    Finally....

you have quite possibly the worst luck with equipment or a horrendous dealer or both. I've had my 4060 for 2 years now, have hundreds of hours on it now. I abuse the snot out of this thing, I don't run high RPMs, in fact, it idles most of the time when I'm not mowing or tilling unless I need...

    ssv ratings

yeah, I've looked at the SVL75, but the price jumps significantly. I'm sure I'll internally debate the SSV vs SVL next. for personal use on a small hobby farm, I believe the SSV 75 has got to be plenty. I just didn't want to go overboard.

    ssv ratings

Re: ssv skid steer lift ratings bump. no one knows if it will do it with the 65 or if I for sure will need the 75? or if the 75 has other advantages besides lift?
