    L280 waterpump wanted

    i don't know about your l280 i have a l3500 my water pump went out two years ago i had our local parts store send it off to huntsville, al. they mechined the housing out to except american seals. it cost me just over a hundred bucks.

    hi gordo i don't rember what filter i use in my l3500 but i think i may have the box out in the shop i will look in the morning but it is a comon filter.seems like i had to use the top off the old filter.

    hello gordo. i am glad to know that my l3500 is not the only one in the u.s.a. i like you am having a hard time with parts. my tie rod ends were so bad they were falling off so i welded large washers over them so the ball would'nt slip out. if you find out any thing about them i would like to know.

    good morning vic here are the numbers off the pump they are the only numbers left on the engine that i can find. 090800-0532 and below that 275-1250 hope this help.

    hi vic i will try again in the morning. there is another tag on the govener end of the injector pump i will check it out. none of the engines in the chart looked like mine. i think it is a 1976 year mod. this dose show where i got these numbers

    thanks for the help guys. i went to my local kubota dealer today he ordered one but not sure it will fit so i welded my old one up and put it back on the tractor i think i got a pretty good scald on it but if i can get the new one i will put it on and save the old one for next time.

    good morning traildust. didn't really mean to sound like a horses a. and i am always open to new ways of looking at a repair. i was hoping some one could tell me if kubota used this engine in something sold here in the us. there is no english writing in the engine that i can find only 1908cc

    sounds like a winner to me. i worked a lot of years as a pipe line welder and about the same amount of time in a mechine shop. the last few years i have lived on the farm and just fix farm and logging equipment for the local folks .don't make much money but at least im here to see the grand kids...
