10 acres - what would you get?

I had a B1700 while i was building and it did everything i needed. Maybe not as quick as a larger Tractor, but it got the job done. Although a L Series would be better during construction, it might be to large to live with after, where the B Series is all you'll really need. A BX would not be...

Paint issue on hood of my m7060

Tractor, Ferrari or a $2000 Fridge, they all need to be perfect. Try Mineral Spirits without rubbing to hard, giving it a little time to soak in. Thats how i get residue glue off things. Then Wax.

    72" mower deck removal

On the B1700 i had, the links lifted up till they matched up with a hole on some bracket to secure the links to with a pin. The manual should show you how to do this. Get underneath it and see what's there to fasten it to when you lift the arms up.

    BX80 series dealer installed cabs

Why not some 3/4 inch (i think) clear hose and slide it to the can spout, giving you the extra room to empty the Jerry can/

    MMM winter maintenance

I clean and grease it. Sharpen the blades and i always take the belt tension spring off over the winter. Any bare spots under the deck get some oil brushed on. I dont bother painting

    F150 Questions

Congrats on your wife and the new truck. I've had several F150s with good luck. My 2018 has the 5.0L, which i ordered and no hole in the roof(sun roof). I do think it's damn petty of Ford to not install rear wheel well liners. I do however always buy them since i want to protect as much as...

    Harbor Freight

I buy little, very little at Harbor Freight and am a firm believer in, you get what you pay for. Last thing i did buy there (4 years ago) where a set of 4, 3 inch swivel coasters and put them on the shelf. Come to find out they dont swivel worth a damn when i went to use them. Oh well.......not...

    Snowblower Dryer and Polebarn Heater?

I would say yes, but I keep my blower in my heated 50x30 shop/garage, and move it outside to warm up for 5 minutes. Enough time for the metal to get cold and have no major snow sticking, unless it's slushy. I park it over the floor drain when i move it back inside.

    B2601 Delivered today!

I love the B series. If i am ever buying another tractor, this is it! Congrats and buy yourself a cab for the winter. Even a cheap soft one will be better than being out in the wind. I made my own out of 1.5 angle iron and skinned it with Lexan and a plywood roof. No heat or other fancy stuff...

How to get the Tire off a RCK60P-F39

As it turns out, i am still unable to get the tire off, on which is says "tubeless". I did put some air in and the rim split apart about an inch and i could see that the tube isn't twisted as i had suspected. So, i either deal with it or call the dealer and see if they'll change the tube for me...

How to get the Tire off a RCK60P-F39

Doing my spring maintenance on my deck - RCK60P-F39 and noticed the front tires low on air. One wheel was easy, but the other has the air-valve facing the wrong way instead of out, towards me in order to put the air-chuck on and then the air pressure gauge. So, i took the wheel off and the 4...

    Garage/Workshop building

What fun! I was contemplating my Garage/Shop 10 years back, figuring out how large will be good and all i need, and ended up building myself a 30x50x10 on a foundation. 2x6 walls, insulated with metal siding out and drywall inside. Ran all the propane line/electric/water/phone/alarm wires...

    Heated Garage and Humidity

I put in a floor drain when i build my garage/shop and it's absolutely necessary, especially in the winter with the amount of water all the snow/ice/slush will generate. The humidity level absolutely has to be controlled even if you dont park in it, or all your tools will start rusting. All...
