2003 bx1800. I picked up an engine block heater, goes into the front freeze plug. Do I have to disassemble the front end, remove hood, headlights, etc to get at it? It's in a spot I can't get a good angle on it. Can't get a drill in there. Bad angle for a punch, etc. any tips or tricks?

Hi all, first question to the forum. Picked up a 2003 BX1800 a few months back. Today is the coolest day I have mowed with it and noticed the temp gauge was only about 1/8 inch above cold, if that. What should it be reading? I'm assuming toward the middle? Change out the thermostat? Thank you!!
