    213/2000 drill

Yeah, trying to find correct tap at multiple stores can be frustrating. One of my best tool purchases ( at a pawn shop) was a large Craftsman tap & die set. 70+ pieces, was brand new, and paid $50 for it 20+ years ago. STD 4/40 to 1/2" and Metric 1mm to 12mm, plus a couple small pipe sizes...

    Oh Deer

When they are already moving by the time you see them is one thing. But if they are standing on the shoulder, you have time to slow.....and sometimes they will bolt at the last second. Maybe toward you or in opposite direction, it's a coin toss.

    Oh Deer

You were lucky. Seen some animal strikes that totaled vehicles and caused bodily injury. I only brake. Never swerve when wet. No evasive maneuvers if on coming traffic. In 31 years of marriage, wife and I have 7 deer strikes between us. Only turned 2 into insurance. One was in a rental I...

    R2 Manufacturing skids

Sometime before Thanksgiving I ordered a set of Edge Tammers for the bucket from guys at R2. I mentioned to Ryan it would be cool if they came up with a similar product for a grader blade. Imagine my surprise a few weeks later their announcement for the Blade Tammer. Not sure how long they had...

    Dipper snapped

I'm no expert on metal fatigue, but that break seems to have a lot of rust on it. No shiny metal anywhere except where paint is flaking on top side.

    The dahhh moments... confessions

My first Holy Spicoli, sphincter clenching experience was on dad's B2400. I was relocating a giant stump/root ball. Much too heavy and ungainly to lift entirely with bucket. But could be rolled by lifting one end and pushing over. Rinse & repeat. Went smoothly on flat ground. When I got to a...

    Painting dashboard kubota

As lugbolt mentioned above, SEM product (prep, primer & paint) all the way. Might have to hit a auto paint supplier to get everything in one stop. That said, this was all for interior application. For a plastic tractor dash, regular orange kubota paint might work. But spraying on a coat of...

3 phase converter.... Deal or No?

Certainly a steal at that price. Could be flipped for a decent return, but would it worth the time dealing with potential buyers & scammers?

    Funny/Strange Memories…got any?

Does not sound like he was bashful. In my late teens I was helping a guy with a shingle job. House was not really secluded, with trees & bushes in backyard. On a street with many older run down houses. I had to take a leak, so went in bushes behind detached garage and did my business. About...

    Loader Supports

Nicely done. Like the articulating feet. Factory supports are too spindly. Have only removed loader twice. First time was a perfect text book experience. The second....like monkey fornicating with a football. In the process I bent one of them slightly. Still usable. Even had problems...

    Your Battery Maintainer/Charger choice?

Have several Noco's, they do a great job. Just had to replace battery in the 3301. Was original from 2017. Worked fine this summer/fall, but when cold weather showed up it floundered. Still measured 12.5v cold, but not enough beans to turn over fast enough. Was hoping to get 10 years out of...

    What are they called

I studied the chinesium copies on ebay, and decided if they were like some of the junk HF has (don't get me wrong they do have some decent hand tools), and I didn't want anything to do with them. Emailed at Ryan at R2 on Friday night with a question, and got reply in 15 min. Ordered a set from...

    New Member...G5200

Welcome to the forum. I bought my G5200 20 years ago. Great machine. But the decks are a weak link, they rust badly when not kept clean. I did some patch work about 6 or 7 years ago, but the metal is really starting to get thin. Pin holes starting to really pop through. The machine is a...

    L3901 Advice

Were I shopping for one, that's a hard pass just based what few visuals there are. Especially without a loader. If it never had one on it, what was tractor used for? Right taillight is canted down....even looks a different size, could be the angle. Forward most frame cross rail has a bend in...

replacing rubber guard on back of hog

How about a rubber mud flap for tractor trailer. Sliced to appropriate width, could probably get everything from one flap. Might have to be a 2pc when installed though. Or an old rubber truck bed mat.

    L3901 HST dies suddenly

Had similar issue a while back on my 3301, but no codes. Fuel tank outlet was plugged. Did have visible debris in fuel bowl.

    That was my first thought.

B1750 seat mount in bad shape

That is the remnants of the old seat pan. A few pieces of flat bar welded in a U-shape will do it. Bolt to seat, and bolt or weld to hinges. Did this on my G5200.

    Daily Chuckle

That's when you get the poop knife! Lived in Germany for about 10 years as a kid. Their toilets are designed with a shelf for solids to land on. I guess for inspection. When you flush, water pushes it off toward the front and down the drain. It often took two or more flushes to make it...
