Easier way to take off/ put on ballast box

Backing to the box is not bad. Its really just getting the vertical alignment for where I put the lower two pins in. The top 'arm' of the hitch is fine. I just find myself trying to get the right height and depth to align the pins. When I get one inevitably the other isnt aligned and I have to...

Easier way to take off/ put on ballast box

If this is the wrong forum I apologize. I often find myself putting on/taking off the ballast box of my 2380. when I take it off it sits on a platform of 4X4s. No problem. Putting it back on is always a pain. Lining up the three point hitch is okay. But getting the right height for the lower...

    Valve Stem numbers

I need to replace a valve stem on my BX2380. I believe its a TR13 but when I shop for it TR416 metal stems pop up a lot. They seem to both say they're the same size ("Fits 453" and .625" Valve Holes") Is it 6 of one half dozen of the other or should I buy one over the other?

    Plastic rivet pins for BX2380

This isnt a high priority question by any means but I'd like to take the rubber 'floor mat' off my BX 2380 sometime and clean under it. I assume the rivet pins will break when I try to take the mat off and I'm wondering what pin size I can buy. I've googled it and I get no real size, just...

Valve stem for bx2380 front tire

I had the valve stem blow out of the rim yesterday. I was moving brush and scrub and a piece of wood must have pushed against it and ripped it out. Is it just a standard valve stem or is there a numerical code etc to get a replacement?

It sounds like it probably doesn't matter?

    Support ballast box when parked?

Hi Guys I’ve always had a little makeshift stand made out of old 4X4s to sit my ballast box on when I park my BX2380. The ballast is probably about 400lbs or so. I always just figured taking the weight off the hydraulics, etc was a good idea when not in use. Is this something that’s necessary in...

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

I didn't even think of rubber mats. Any thoughts on what brands are good for rear chains? (Just got the reply from JoeR while posting this. Sorry for the double question.

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

Hi Joe, Thanks for this. I only have a gravel driveway so no blacktop to wreck here. Two questions... I do park the tractor in the garage which has a cement floor. Would it be wise to throw down some cheap used plywood to park it on? Do you have a brand of chains or are there Kubota chains...

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

That's not something I'd want to have to deal with. Sounds like I should just get used to sliding around in the winter. Unless this is a rare occurrence and maybe user error? Do chains fall off and bind often?

    Chains VS Industrial R4 tires

Hi guys, I have a BX2380 with turf tires on it. Its great for the summer and most of the winter stuff I have to do. I do find in certain snow and when I'm dragging the bucket doing the driveway the turf tires off less traction than I'd like. I was looking at maybe buying chains (I'm not sure if...

    Tire bulging out the side

I figured as much. Thanks Rodger. Its on a BX2380 so not a heavy weight machine but it does have a loader on it. I'll get a new one this month as opposed to having to change it in the winter. Would this be caused by being under inflated? Thanks again.

    Tire bulging out the side

It was under inflated by about 6 lbs for a while until I noticed and pumped it to 21 lbs
