I don't know obviously, but if the tractor does not start when the solenoid is attached, and does start when the solenoid is removed, I think there is a message there... :unsure:

That is about exactly what I did as well. Totally happy with that set up and absolutely no regrets! I did weld a piece of 1/4 inch angle across the top to stiffen the top lip and give something strong to weld to.
