If you doing both remove pto and then remove blades and blade carrier underneath, then the gearbox you can take to your bench to work on, much easier than trying to do the output shaft underneath the mower and safer too

Make sure you drain gear oil first. Some have plug on bottom others you will have to remove the whole top and extract the oil out. Depending if it’s the input or output seal? obviously makes a huge difference in what needs to be removed

When I had my svl95 I had the same problem. Only had 300 hrs. Service manager said it was a problem with those machines the def tank is so close to the hot engine, cause the def to crystallize and wreak havoc. I sold the machine and the problem was fixed under warranty but does make you wonder

Very well put. I agree with you 100%. I have thought about deleting my m6-111 but I am lucky to have got over 3700 trouble free hrs out of it. Although I think my dpf is starting to plug which I realize it is probably at its service life.

I agree with you prob no it really is a significant difference in my opinion. It still may be loud in comparison with other manufacturers but when compared to the 10 series way better. Hst is a lot smoother actually that is my favourite part, no sudden jerks when trying to do slow movements...

Thanks Dan. I always told myself I would trade the tractor at every 3000hours before it needed any of dpf or emission equipment cleaned or replaced. But with the world the way it is I think I’ll be keeping it for a couple more years anyways
