    Bigfoot and Oil Changing

Man can you imagine drain plug is plugged solid. Wonder what the oil filter is doing? My bet is that the old filter has blown out or been in bypass for years! Decompress any engine by removing the spark or glow plugs. This will unload the starter. Remember NOT to overheat the starter motor...

    New to me B6000

Real quick on the fuel system. Pick up some filters, change both the paper water seperator, cheap on line part to order, this is the one in the tarnished clear plasitc bowel, and head to the auto parts shop with the particle filter mounted closer to the injector pump. New filters and a can of...

    B6000 Air Breather

The metal cup has 2 holes in the bottom, so oil will even out in the plastic bowel after you let it rest a minute. I'd say that you don't want to overfill the oil level, will cause it to leak out at the gasket when your running the engine, even pull it up into engine. If your 1/4" of oil is...

Am I the only one ??

I just put on over 20 hours on a 14ton machine last week. The Hitachi had over 1324 hours on it. I found that on the 1st day I was nearly bouncing off the walls of the cab as I learned the controls. On the last day I could lift an egg of the ground and set it on the hood of a Kubota with out...

strange hydraulic problem, can anyone assist.

Hydralic and Electrical Circuits are tough to trouble shoot without diagrams, more so when the equipment is modified and not available to trace out with your own hands. If you've got time enough to draw one of your homemade circuit on this tractor, it could help for others to see what your...

    Bushhog, Gearbox or spindle.

Hold up on them new parts for just one second. Have you pulled the box off of there yet and tried to get you hand on just the broken part? If it is a clean snap on the shaft and you far enough from the seal diameter and spline you could look at a weld repair. If you not tooled to do it...

    B6100 R2 Paddy/Cane Tires

On Ebay you'll see some Terramite tires now. Some with 6 bolt rims for a seemlying low price. Look a lot like what is on the B6000E on the home page of the site at this time. Not sure if the owner of that tractor ever posted what those are, and how much $ they were, or where to get them?

No RPM past 1500 without dying

There are 2 fuel filters on a B6000. One is referred to as a water seperator and has the sight glass bowl, and replaceable paper element type cartridge. The other is an in-line hose clamp automotive style filter. Factory set-up to have both. If you've never changed them both, good idea to...

b6000-trans lube same sys as hyd. sys. of 3pt?

You only got 2 fill points. One is engine oil up front, the other is the trans/hydr fluid in the back. Sceen filter elements on each, wash and reuse on fluid changes. If you have an AUX hyd system then well it is different, but then you wouldn't have asked.

    Tiller Conversion for B6000 PTO

I guess if I knew the true meaning of reverse rotation tiller was before I undid the opportunity on this one, I certainly wouldn't have. Maybe there is a lesson for some others to take away from this project. B6000's can run a CW rotation tiller better than the other guys, just swap the sides...

    Tiller Conversion for B6000 PTO

This is a G4000 tiller that was made for G4000 and G5000 Garden Tractors with the CAT-0 3PH. I found a manual to go with it and realized that the drive could be flipped over from a CW PTO to CCW PTO like on a B6000. Needed to convert the 31/32" 10 spline PTO shaft to a common 6 spline 6N drive...

    M9000 Fuel Trouble

I don't know much about fuel injection, other than they need to keep clean. Have you dumped in can of injector cleaner lately? Cheap enough and worth a shot.

Still have serious issues with my B6100

Behind the key you'll find some 2 cent fuse cases. Take a real good look at those buggers. If they are original they'll be just about falling apart in your hands, and the contacts in there to hold the fuse will be hanging on by one last strand if that. A trip to the auto parts store and $5...

Need B6000 data, manuals, parts sources in SoCAL

As you learn about this mini-tractor, you'll learn it has a factory pump and you just need to "tap" the lines to do what you want. There are guys building bucket loaders and even front mount dozer blades and backhoes that run off the OEM system and rear axle "tank". Try ebay on those manuals...

    B6000 seat brace

That's first class work. Just need to extend it out a bit for a roll bar to mount up to it, then add some work lights, grab handles, and a chain box. There's always more to do. :D

Glad to hear it. Treat that oil light as serious as a heart attach if it comes back on, now that you can trust it. You just got out of jail free on this one.

http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1405&page=3 Topgun- The pictures of the cheap little pressure switch are posted on this thread, message dated 2/14. That little switch will cost you less than a good gage and fittings, that is unless you happen to have a spare gage...

    well, i did it...

Your oil pressure light shouldn't be on still. Have you tried pulling that out of the block and see if oil pisses out when you start it up? Could just be gunk in oil galley. If it is wired correctly, oil pressure light is on when the engine is off, and key is on. New pressure switch...

    parts diagrams (secret)

That was easy shopping. Got a supply of in-line fuel filters on the way. At $3.25 each, I'll just keep changing it with the oil changes, and hopefully avoid power loss and injector problems. Funny check-out feature at Coleman Equipment, makes you go back and pick the name and address it reads...
