    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

I know I'm inexperienced but damn, this stuff seems more complicated than it needs to be! I bought a 1/4" Pioneer coupling set at Tractor Supply (part number VP4000-2P) which of course doesn't come close to fitting the fittings on my BX. If and when I finally get a correct parts list together...

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

Oh no offense taken at all, I'm definitely new at tractors and working on (not with) hydraulics. I've checked out those and most all of the videos I could find, the confusing part for me was most of the stuff I saw was for newer tractors with a different setup than the BX2200, or they used a...

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

Ah, thank you helpful friend! Is there any trick to swapping the fittings? I was hesitant because I didn't want to spray fluid everywhere, or reinstall incorrectly. I'm also now curious if there is any benefit to putting a "t" in one of the fittings, and mounting the gauge permanently? That...

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

To expand, the gauge has what might be considered a "flat face" (I'm not really sure). The hose plug on the tractor has what I'd call a "nipple", and it plugs into a "socket". I tried to upload pics but they failed from my phone.

Am I just really really numb? What am I missing here? None of the connections match up with the gauge, do I need an adaptor and where might I find one?

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

You the man! Thanks! I just wasn't sure if one of the ports was "correct", I'll just pick one! I'm excited to see what the pressure is on this fairly old, ~1500 hour machine.

Changed transmission oil to super UDT2 now problems

How on Earth does the dealer accept 20 gallons of that expensive stuff back unsealed, and then re-sell it unsealed??? Sounds like a fast way to buy someone a new tractor when they fill it with canola oil thinking it's SUDT2... if they could prove any of it anyway.

    3-Pt Adjustable Links

This is a very timely topic for me as I just purchased a used SB1154 3point snowblower and am sort of struggling to get it adjusted correctly (I know, I've got a while before snow even up here in Maine!) I tightened the top link as far as it could go I thought, but fully raised it wasn't very...

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

Hi guys - Can someone who knows tell me where to plug in the pressure gauge on the BX2200? I got that version from BXExpanded, but the instructions aren't great. I am trying to make sure I plug the gauge into the proper port, and do I disconnect all the others? I think there are three? I only...

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

Update again, and thank you for sharing the knowledge so far! I haven't had much time to disconnect fuel line to check flow, but also because I've now gone through 3/4 of that last tank I filled with no problems at all. Yes I hear the clatter of the fuel pump (or lifter? Sorry for poor...

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

I checked all four fuses (it seems only one actually does anything, the other three are for lights?) and all were fine. Which means I suppose I'm going to have to locate and dig into the fuel pump next? It lost power a little today mowing with a full tank this time.

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

You guys are the best! I'll check that out first, I'd LOVVVVE it to be as simple as a fuse.

Awesome thank you! Anywhere easy to find that fuse?

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

Hello, I'm back from camp and back in action on my BX2200. Since I last asked, I had filled the fuel tank full and drove around a bunch, with zero issues. Today (now at 1490 hours so about 5 more since I filled tank and had the loss of power issue) I was mowing the lawn and started getting the...

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

Certainly does! Now I can't imagine that would cause a loss of power... I'll run it and when it gets back down to half or below I'll go up some hills and side slopes and see if she boggs down again.

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

Roger that. I did add some fuel and it seems to have stopped the problem for now... The gauge is only reading 3/4 though not full despite it being full to the eye inside the cap.

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

I made a short video to show what it's doing. I just did a complete fluid and filter change about 20 or so hours ago it seems, and didn't have this issue then. All fuel is filtered through one of those funnels with a filter on it to remove water and contaminants, but I buy the off-road diesel...

    BX2200 losing power intermittently

Hi there: I have a BX2200 with 1485 hours on it, using the 54" MMM. I'm mowing the lawn right now and noticing that on uphills (even slight ones) or left hand side grades (if sitting in the driver's seat, my right hand is lower than my left if I place them on my knees) the tractor is...

Question for those with a Piranha tooth bar.

Ok one data point for those interested: Ordered "BX size" on 6/11. Arrived today, 7/13 so 4 weeks and 4 days total, right within their estimate of 3-5 weeks. Shipped to Maine, if my screen name on here didn't give it away.

    Lawn Scalping

Not to be off topic but sort of on topic, has anyone had a stuck anti scalping wheel? I have the 54" mower deck and one of them will absolutely not move. I've soaked in PB Blaster, tried heat, banging harder than I feel comfortable doing.... The thing will just not move.
