    Fixing something to fix something.

Yep. ^^^^ Marine grade plywood, covered by surplus aluminum diamond plate. The 'on center' of the frame isn't an issue to the alum top plate, only to the plywood. Trailer floor might outlive you, and all of us.

    MX 5400 Canopy mounted fan

In my opinion, don't mess with the tractor's power. There are lots of options. Edit; For a small fan, that is. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Lithium-Ion-4-0-Ah-Battery-2-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-Kit-with-FREE-ONE-Hybrid-WHISPER-SERIES-7-1-2-in-Fan-PCL811B-PSK106SB/329129707

Pondering a bit of a dark question

I'd share it, but it is a personal choice. I have a couple small accolades hidden away in a drawer. Nothing major. I'm sure my family that knows, will share it. My past professional associates will share it. The emotional impact, at an emotional moment such as a memorial service can't...

    Trailer tire load?

Good on you to ask. Most folks just load it up until something breaks. The answers so far are correct. Tire rating is one tire. AND wheel rating is one wheel. Wheels have ratings too. Tire and wheel manufacturers have no idea how many axles you have on your trailer. Rating is each tire...

    Massive Cup Holder!

That huge factory hole is so one can fit a cup of noodles, or take-out fish eyes and rice. Some things the Kubota - Japanese have changed, other small things are still Asia. @BBFarmer , I agree: Ram mounts are awesome, and the way to go. I have them on motorcycles, ATVs, SXSs and my Jeeps...

ANybody else have one of these POS sthil 211's

I have a Stihl, 211 I think, and it is a hard starter and leaks bar oil always... but it is a good saw. I wouldn't throw it away. When I'm in an 'Mother Earth, earth is god State' where I can't get ethanol free gas, I buy the Stihl premix gallon cans. It is pricey, but good stuff.

    1980 Kubota B6100D 4x4 - Restortation with UpGrades

I lived it, Ken. It was awesome!! Even at 15 years old!! Dad's money then, of course. It was miniature full bore commercial tractors that could fit thru a typical suburban backyard gate and rototill, finish grade, and dig swimming pools. I dug a full size pool with our B7100 in my 1970's...

    1980 Kubota B6100D 4x4 - Restortation with UpGrades

The Kubota B7000 and B6000 series of the 1970's and 80's were more commercially rated than many of Kubota's offerings today. They were, and are, tough commercial machines. But you probably wouldn't want forks on them. They are very small machines. 14 to barely 20ish HP. They are comparable...

Gummy Fuel Fix ( for stupidity )

MX 6000 or 5400 Backhoe Install

What he said^^^^ If your credit is decent, buying new with zero APR is almost like free money. Finance the MX and BH and everything you need in one expensive shot. Keep your wad of tractor cash in the bank earning interest and make tractor payments. You might save $ in the long run.... or not.

    Daily Chuckle

I had one as a kid!!! Loved it! Me and my friends spent hours and days with that toy. They all got one! I found new ones online a few years ago. My wife bought me one. It's still in the box.... It's too hard to bend over and crank it.

Pictures please. More info needed. Attachments included? Cab or open station? Etc. Since you said that you are newbie, some very experienced folks on here might see a lot of good or bad in photos that you wouldn't see. You won't find many 'box store' implements for it. It is a serious...

    Purchasing A new Bucket

Generally, ordered parts have a restocking fee if you don't accept them. Otherwise... Freight, shipping etc, should be configured into the selling price. The price quoted to you at order time. If you pick it up at the dealer. If they specify, 'Plus shipping', it's on the customer. All of...

    X-files

Gloves: I usually end up with all lefties or all righties when I really need them. Because I have dogs. Dogs love gloves, because they smell like me and they love me. They tear them to little bits, and sometimes eat them. So I buy gloves regularly when on sale and keep them out my pooches...

Seat Position for Extended Time Outdoors?

Flipped forward over the steering wheel. Always. Every time. Left in the seated position it gathers the sun and the seat material degrades. In the rain or snow it pools and soaks into the foam once the vinyl cracks. Not even that; On a hot or raining day do you want to sit in a hot or wet...
