    Backhoe hydraulic connection advice

You’re exactly right about that plate location—but the bh77 gets flow into it from the ‘PB’ in the part in the pic called the ‘RR Outlet Block’ (using a 37” hose) and the flow coming from the bh77 goes into the part shown as ‘hydraulic block’ at its PB port.

Hooking up third function, rear remotes, and a backhoe line.

Did the BH77 work ok prior to the project start? Also, you mentioned the BH77 couplers are now flat-faced. Any chance during that mod that they were mistakenly switched between their intent as ‘inlet’ and ‘outlet’? Also, did the comment about the three point lever in the forward(down) position...

Did it work in its most simple configuration? Add stuff in one by one and test functionality. Also keep in mind, the 3-point hitch lever (on right side of your seat)-MUST be all the way forward (down) anytime the backhoe is in use.

Depending on your size, you may end up feeling a little pinched sitting on the mounted backhoe seat while doing work, with the lower part of the ROPS attachment you’re showing. Here’s how the factory kit instructions said to mount it.

    Kubota L3301HST

Picked mine up new in 2018 and now has 1500 hours without any trouble. Common rail engine with DPF isn’t any issue unless you don’t run it hard (limit your idling). Putting only good dry diesel (get and use a Mr Funnel) in the tank and keeping up with the routine maintenance and it will serve...

Using the drawbar to pull a trailer

I’ve done it both ways ok with my dump and equipment trailers (each about 2500lbs empty), to move them around on level ground for maintenance and such. Being able to stop is as much a consideration as anything, especially heading downhill.

    Dump trailer questions

If you have any seams along the bed that could take a bead of silicone sealant, that’s time well-spent. This is what I use:

With no material in the box, the 5’ box blade I had came in at 345# whereas the 6’ version weighs 510# empty—FWIW

For me it comes down to covering my (spaced) R4 tracks and making sure I can at least have the option to head downhill, if needed—and there are plenty of hills, rocks, and clay to contend with here.
