    New L47 breakin question

If I do light loader or backhoe work it doesn't take long to get up to 75-80%. The engine isn't working very hard and running at 1500 rpm or so. I frequently do a "road trip" to our other property, which is about 1/2 mile away. I blast down the road at 12mph/2600 rpm:eek: The clog-o-meter will...

After reading this thread I decided to remove my pins and cote them with never seez. To the OP. Have you been able to get the pins out?

    frozen backhoe pins

No new suggestions. Just wondering if OP has ever taken the backhoe off, or was it mounted when he bought the tractor? I bought a brand new backhoe that had (badly) misaligned mounting brackets from the factory. Kubota replaced it. Could it be that the pins were driven into a slightly...

    L47 cab options

I knew I’d need help lifting/installing some of the large panels. I thought it best just to let my dealer take care of installation. They had never installed one before but did a good job. It did take them a little longer than Curtis suggests, 14 hrs instead of 10, but that’s the way it goes...

    L47 cab options

Well I decided to buy the Curtis for my L47. I like it so far. It’s a little noisy compared to the open station, but I expected that. No AC but the doors lift off and some of the windows do too. It appears to be well made.

    BX25d cab?

I wanted a hard cab for my L47. Curtis is the only game in town. At $10k they are pricy, but then so are factory cabs in similar size tractors. There is no free lunch.

    eBay Skid Steer Plates

I let my plate sit around for a while before test fitting so a return wasn't an option. I cut off the top plate with a wafer wheel and welded it in the correct position. I removed about 3/4 in slop. Good fit now. I would agree, this was my best option. No extra material needed.

3 point attachments on front end loader

I made that adapter 25-30 yrs ago. Works good for cleaning out ditches with York Rake Woven wire fence unroller Carry all (I have since welded on a SSQA plate to the carry all) 2 inch square receiver for 3 pt hitch. I even used it with my box blade once so I wouldn't have to dismount my backhoe...

    L47 cab options

I have some health issues that limit what I can do underneath the tractor. What do you think about installing the noise insulation or something like thick stall mat material between the floor and the existing mat?
