Minumum tire spacing for safe operation of bush hog

I would suspect the newer manual , available on line, was updated just to remove that 60" minimum tire spacing! lol ;)

Minumum tire spacing for safe operation of bush hog

That 60 inch minimum dimension does not make sense to me for your tractor and BH216. Can you take a screen shot of the manual with the 60" minimum tire spacing and share here? I do not doubt you but wondering what version manual has this information. The manual I pulled up seems to be the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was able to get down to the land and spend a few hours grappling brush and cut trees in the new oak savanna project area. Always amazes me how cameras will "flatten" out the terrain. This area is a bowl shape with some significant slope angles, and on top of that, some stumps and divots...

    Brush guard for L2501f...

Finding the part number for brush guards can be found grouped with the front loader parts. I looked up parts for the LA525 which my L2501hst has and came up with this. Not knowing what loader the donor guard from the L4060 had I am only guessing it was a LA805. That being said it looks as...

    Thoughts or advise

I recently removed fencing wire from the drum of a forestry head. We discussed a angle grinder, which would have worked well but the location and time of year was not conducive to throwing lots of sparks. Last thing I needed was to deal with a wildfire or a burned up track loader. The wire was...

    Why are trucks so big?

This was the first truck after my spinal cord injury and full time wheelchair use. 1986 Mazda B2600 4x4. I was considering this truck or a Toyota and the Mazda sat a few inches lower and about $2000 cheaper. I was used to a 72 Ford F250 4x4 highboy. What a difference in size and height! The...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sunday went to the land and did my 200 hour maintenance on the L2501. Knock on wood , only problems I have had so far with the tractor is the right hand side tie rod end falling off within yards of taking delivery. I had about 20 or so hours when the curl function linkage fell off for the...

    Backhoe Hydraulic Line Failure

I think this picture shows the dipper stick, bucket hose placement/routing better.

    Backhoe Hydraulic Line Failure

I am sure others will weigh in but I think the main issue is the dipper stick hose routing. Not sure why they were installed with the hoses set off hard to the one side. I pulled a quick picture off the internet that makes a lot more sense as to the routing. I would guess that in normal...

What would be the reason to deliver a new tractor with this problem

Glad I could help and put your mind at ease! Here are a few photos from the WSM ? that shows and describes the procedure that dealers should follow when installing the right hand drive assembly.

What would be the reason to deliver a new tractor with this problem

I did want to mention that there are lots of threads and posts about checking the fluid level in the front axle of these L2501's and similar models due to the dealer set-up and improper fluid levels. In my case my L2501 was delivered with a tie rod end castle nut cotter key not being installed...

What would be the reason to deliver a new tractor with this problem

The L2501 comes crated with the right side axle gear assembly on the shipping crate/pallet. The dealers do the final assembly , set toe in and fill with lube during dealer set up. Perfectly normal to see the paint off the right hand side bolts holding the gear assembly on.

    L3901 Pricing question

I would consider adjusting the price of the property to include the tractor and implements. Very possible the buyer would want it. If not, closing usually takes a month or so after accepted contract. That should give you the time you need to find a buyer for the tractor and do minimum...

I was just given this BX2200 and I have no idea

Double check this information for accuracy. From what I find your BX2200 should take a group size 26RA battery. I believe the R denotes which side the positive post is on. Not sure what the A stands for. Assembly 10 is the battery and two labels. The Kubota description is 26RA 526RMFD...

    Brand New B6100 owner

Part number 20 in the diagram. From what Messicks says both the original part number and the replacement are discontinued. I have seen them referred to as both steam whistle and horn.

    Brand New B6100 owner

FYI, your tractor should have a steam whistle to alert operator of high water temps. Should be located on side of frame, right hand side, toward front.

    Installing a GPS tracking device

Air tags have helped folks recover their stolen property. I think they can be another tool in the security tool box. Here is a recent example of an eventual recovery due to having an attached air tag. https://www.motorbiscuit.com/sawmill-theft-missouri-apple-airtag/
