Not so new here with a couple of B6000's

Looks like your making great progress. I had a similar starting issue with my b7200. I ended up replacing the three glow plugs which made a night and day difference with starting. It also seemed to make my old indicator much more visible when pre heating. Summer starts were better than winter...

    AIR COMPRESSOR oil pump

I have used a hand siphon to pump oil out of a gm4.3 v6 through the dipstick tube on an old boat i used to own. My current boat has a remote line i can push out of the hulls drain plug. I know the method of using the dipstick tube for removing engine oil from boat motors is common practice. I...

kubota b7200 hst transmission charge pump

Im assuming your in need of the hst unit all together? And im also assuming its 4wd. I found this on messicks website. It is not cheap by any means. There a lot of people on here that are very knowledgeable with these older B series tractors, specifically its hydraulic components. Could you...

    B7200HSTD control valve

Can you raise the 3pt arms by hand? Perhaps if something sheered inside you would be able to feel some type of grinding on the inside through the bars. Just a thought..

    B7200HSTD control valve

Which control valve are you talking about? Im assuming since the front loader works your referring to the 3pt valve. I found a previous thread that might help. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/b7200-control-valve.56697/ If your referring to the loader valve, i replaced mine...

    Kubota 400 ci backfire issue

This reminds me of my boat a few years ago. It would start, idle, and run relatively smooth until it got to around 4k rpm's and it would flat line.. after 2 seasons, it just wouldnt start anymore. Turns out cylinders 2,4,6, and 8 were not the correct size and placed into a bored cylinder. The...

New guy on the block crank no start B7200

That was the case with mine... it was getting harder and harder to start and the colder temps didnt help much. They glowed slightly but if they didnt do that i would imagine the it would have fired at all. The op seems to be on the right track, if it worked before and then all of a sudden...

New guy on the block crank no start B7200

I had a similar problem with my b7200 having a hard time starting a while ago and i read an unrelated post regarding the correlation between the glow plugs and the indicator. Even parked in a garage with a temp around 40 to 50 degrees would cause me trouble starting. It would puff white smoke...

    B7200 tach / hour meter

Well... the guage started howeling pretty bad and i couldnt stand the noise so i disconnected the cable for now while in search of a replacement. Are these guages a 1:1 ratio. Also, are the cables a universal type fut with the slotted end. i would imagine they are but im not confident it is. I...

    Fluid leak from exhaust

Good to know! Sheering a stud off cant be fun with these little engines... i mean it isnt fun with any engine but ordering parts prior too is probably much faster in the long run

    Fluid leak from exhaust

That is a problem i can live with then. I wanted to replace the bent exhaust anyways, ill get a new gasket and do it all at the same time. Glad it wasnt anything more significant. Thanks you all for the help.

    Fluid leak from exhaust

I noticed yesterday while working in the yard on the b7200 there was a fluid leak coming from the exhaust manifold. My first though was engine oil... but that doesnt seem right. Perhaps diesel not burining completely and seeping out of a bad gasket. The exhaust looks like the p.o. hit something...

Hydraulic lift cylinder scored needs replacement/repair

Does the lift cylinders fall while its running? The boom arms going down slowly when the engine is off i would consider normal depending on how severe the fall rate is. My older loader drops as well but takes several hours to drop to the ground from about mid lift..

BF300-A Loader - boom cylinder parts

Oh i see, sorry i didnt see any parts diagram. I would suggest getting the info dan requested and go from there. He is a wizard when it comes to hydraulics. He helped me a great deal with my b1630 loader.... at 175 bucks a cylinder... its well worth the price to not have to source used parts.

BF300-A Loader - boom cylinder parts

What is wrong with your boom cylinders that you are trying to replace them completely? If they are leaking, take the seals out of one of them and take them to a local hydraulic shop and have the seals matched up. I did this for my boom cylinders and total cost for both cylinders was a fraction...

    L345DT Low Engine Oil Pressure

75007, could you post a few pictures of what you did to add the oil pressure and temp guage? Im not a fan of only having indicator lights, gauges are very helpful to have.

    B7200hst body panel alignment

Yeah it just seems my panel is short. The exhaust lines up fine minus the part over top but it hits the oil filter at the bottom. I couldnt get both bolts to line up at the top unless i really pushed on it but even then the bottom didnt align correctly. Does the part down by the clutch pedal...

    B7200hst body panel alignment

All the photos help a great deal! Thank you! when i looked at the parts stuff on messicks, i didnt see that filler part you have pictured. Ill double check it. When i get home, ill see what bolt holes are where. It appears the 8200 panel is slightly longer than what i have and looks like the oil...

    B7200hst body panel alignment

When i purchased my tractor, it had a broken grille and a missing left body panel. I was able to order a new grille from messicks and found a left side panel on ebay.. i tried to put it on the tractor last week and it seems it doesnt align correctly. The grille went on fine but the panel seems...
