    Tree root question

I have some large trees in the from yard. They have roots that are 2-4 inches above ground level which makes mowing impossible around them close to the trunk. I have a stump removal guy set up to take out a stump from a fallen tree. My question is can I have him shave the roots off? Will it...

    Wiring help

I actually used thermostat wire and a 20 amp in line fuse. It did not come with a fuse and the only one I had was a 30 amp. So that is the set up right now. I actually used thermostat wire which I’m sure as you know is just a solid copper wire and a 20 amp in line fuse. It did not come with a...

OK. I just ran LED lights on the tractor roof. I have it run to the back passenger side tail light. Can someone please tell me the positive and negative hook up so that I can use the light switch. I have confirmed that before I cut the wires, the red tail light came on when I turned the lights on.

my EV crystal ball was right, again

I do not have a problem with the concept of EVs. The problem is we do NOT have the technology or infrastructure and we are not even CLOSE. When I can recharge my vehicle in 10-15 minutes I will seriously consider one. I want to know how they will do this in major cities. I grabbed a random...

    Sprayer Pattern

It was a pre emergent. I believe it was mixed pretty good in a bucket and them poured in. I let it agitate in the tank for about 15 minutes before spraying. I will check that. Thanks

    Sprayer Pattern

I bought a boomless sprayer last year. First sprayer for me, so still learning. I have been using the hand wand regularly since getting it. This weekend I used the boomless sprayers for the first time. Was shooting for Saturday but the winds were steady at about 20 mph. Sunday was perfect...

    Property tax

It doesn't matter what word you put in front of tax. Property, income, sales, wealth.... It all goes into the same pile to burn.

Hertz to sell 20,000 EVs in shift back to gas-powered cars

Turn around on a gas car is about 10 minutes. Electric...it depends on their battery charge when returned. Cars that are sitting (charging) do not make money. Further, why would I want my company to pay for the fuel (power). Gas car...bring it back full or pay $6.00/gallon to fill it--making...

    Insurance Increases

You are both actually right. Yes, your loan is with the bank and it is YOUR job to buy insurance to properly cover the vehicle in a total loss situation. To rely on our fellow humans to have enough (any) insurance is a BIG mistake. However, the at fault party can be sued for the full value of...

    Insurance Increases

I had them for 30 years. Their prices were ridiculously high when I finally shopped around a dumped them 3 years ago. Had to keep prices down when you advertise in every college and pro football game. Did have great customer service until the end.

    Pressure Washer question

I actually already have that for my sprayer. So your saying to just hook a hose (in/out) on each end and I'm done? What pressure regulator do you suggest and what PSI setting?

    Pressure Washer question

I am trying to pressure wash a dock. It is too far from my house to run a hose but I have plenty of access to water via the pond. Has anyone used a pump from a water supply to feed a pressure washer? If so, can you tell me what size (HP) needed to get enough water to the pressure washer. BTW...
