Towing B2601 with 14 ft trailer - SA or TA

My 16’ aluminum trailer. Bought it to carry my SXS 4 Seater and any of my Corvettes or street rods. Works real well with our L3560. Hauled it from Ohio to Maine, 800 miles.

    Another layer of theft deterrence

Going to have to do it quickly…the alarm system on the garage has doors and windows with sensors and on the first floor is also a motion detector. Assuming you can make this happen in a timely manner you will have to go out the way you came in…down a one mile dirt road. The police will meet...

    Processing wood

We bought 24 acres in Maine. An area was cleared for a new home and an out building garage. In the process i asked to keep the oak and hickory logs. The tree cutter estimated there was 20-25 cords of wood there. Here I am standing on some of it. We bought a L3560 and I bought in addition...

Would this skid steer attachment work on my L3560?

    I corrected the title. I have a L3560 with the LA805 loader.

I will see what I can do with all the items that might be in the way of crossing. Not worried about the front as the wheel nets have the front “trapped”.

Thank you to all who provided comments. Made some modifications including moving the tractor towards the trailer tongue about 12” or so. Here are new photos… Mirrors removed…

The draw bar is in all the way. It bumps into the transmission/engine. It can’t go in any further.

Trailering my L3560 LE 800 miles…my set up. ** New photos**

Ok…my memory just isn’t what it used to be for sure! Here is the spec sheet from the manufacturer…5820 pounds weight capacity. Subtract 5159 pounds for tractor and loader, there is still 600 pounds to go. So there is excess capacity for the trailer. I had originally put the tractor on facing...

I did not subtract the tongue weight.

    Here is what I get….tractor w/4wd and HST = 3,880 pounds, 805 loader = 1279 pounds total = 5,159 pounds…yup….might have to rethink this. I have a friend that has a dump trailer with 10,000 pound capacity….

I took it for a test drive and ran 55-60. No problems other than I could tell I was hauling a heavy load, heavier than I had on the trailer before.

You are right about it getting old. Fortunately we break it down to 400 miles and spend the night. Good news is I have a 2500 with diesel and Allison transmission and that makes pulling a trailer a bit better…just a bit!

I use wheel nets all the time for my Polaris SXS 4 seater and my cars (Corvettes). The wheel nets are made by Macs Custom Straps. The trial run I could feel the tractor behind me…we are going to take it easy and run between 55-60 mph.
