When should you check Hydraulic fluid level?

As suggested above, just add fluid with the tractor off and cold until you get within the hash marks section of the dipstick (I add a little at a time using a solo cup). If you don't see any leaks in the coming days, just check the level on occasion when the tractor is in the same state and top...

    Rubber Floor Mats Stink

After I looked it over further, there are nubs to align with holes in the floor pan to keep the mat in place. Wondering if they just wore out over time and are now releasing when I turn to look back when reversing.

    New, safer gas cans......

I spill more fuel with the modern containers than I ever did with the older ones. I have a special level of hatred for them.

    Ridiculous Temperatures and Wind Chills

To our esteemed Canadian members: Please do everything that you can to lure our current weather back towards you as it is absolutely brutal, and those of us in the US have no idea how to deal with it. In other news, we continue to wish you the absolute best, and hope that all other matters...

Lx2610 w/cab - wheel spacer size and any info please!

To be honest, I am not certain but based on their weight, I would assume they are steel.

Lx2610 w/cab - wheel spacer size and any info please!

I have not heard of any issues when installing them on the rear axle. Additionally, I never got around to installing mine and they are currently for sale if you are interested. https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/for-sale-2-brotek-rear-wheel-spacers-for-a-lx2610.59749/#post-598868

    Engine oil leak

Ironically, after cleaning everything up last spring to identify the source, it stopped on its own. Going to continue to monitor, but at the moment, there is no leak to speak of.

How To Drive On Snow And Ice (1957)

What I find crazy living in the Northeast is that a large portion of our population completely forgets how to drive in the snow from one year to the next. The first few snow storms of the year are a guaranteed $h!tshow on the roadways here.

    Proper Ballast Recommendations

Definitely a valid point. However, if you are doing any work in close quarters, it is much more difficult to navigate with something wide attached both in front of and behind you.

    New member surge

I recall a large surge when Texas had the deep freeze a year or two ago. Unsure if they were new members or existing members who never had those problems previously though.

Land plane or box blade with scarifiers for an icy gravel driveway?

I am happy to report that I have found the solution. Three days of 50 degree plus winter temperatures will remove the ice buildup from your driveway.

    Dumb Quick Hitch Question

It definitely sounds like you do not need the additional bushings. I know that my Woods box blade can be finicky on occasion with my quick hitch as well. I added the quick change pins witch allow me to easily change the top link height and as a bonus, they are narrower than the original 🔩 setup...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

To each their own. However, I truly hope that you never encounter a situation where you regret that decision.

    Dumb Quick Hitch Question

Looking at your lower quick hitch hooks, you may have the Speeco version that does not require additional bushings (a good thing). The lower hooks on my standard quick hitch are roughly 1 9/16" wide. Are yours the same width or narrower? Also, after adjusting your top link, does your box blade...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Owning a tractor makes it significantly easier (and more enjoyable) than managing without one. If you do not have a cab though, it still sucks on the negative and single digit days where the wind is whipping.

Land plane or box blade with scarifiers for an icy gravel driveway?

You could try the scarifiers to rough it up a bit but I would keep them raised enough to not get under the ice and possibly tear your driveway apart.

Land plane or box blade with scarifiers for an icy gravel driveway?

Courtney from GWT is using this to groom snow trails. Unsure of how it would work on the ice though.
