Kubota LA481 Loader....I cannot find the replacement parts for it

Hard to say since you have not posted any pictures of the hoses and routing. As has been suggested good chance its simply contaminated with water. Pull a sample out and put it in a glass container so you can see what it looks like. Dan

    L3800 3rd Function almost working

Not me. I would hook that valve up and use it until it poops. Might be a very long time.... Dan

Back to what I said initially. If you have good flow in on P then you must have the same flow out on PB and there should be no flow out on T. Dan

    L3800 3rd Function almost working

No - if you look closely you will see that valve has no provision for a power beyond port. Whoever installed it is using T for power beyond and it must go to port F1 on the outlet block. We can debate the wisdom of that but it is what it is. Dan

OK so there there should be two other hoses on the inlet section of that valve. One is pressure in from the pump (controlled by DV1) and the other is a tank return straight into the transmission. Is that correct? Dan

I am a slow learner - lets take this one step at a time, Here is your picture of the loader valve showing the outlet section. Is that hose you circled the power beyond supply hose for the backhoe valve? Dan

He says he has flow in at the loader valve but no/diminished flow out. How does that happen? I have no familiarity with the plumbing on this machine so help me out here. I assume that when DV1 is in the loader position and DV2 is in the 3pt position the flow is into loader and then out to...

    L35 Husco hydro's

The valve is self contained. If you have flow into the valve it should have the same flow coming out. You have one in and two outs. One out is power beyond and it should have the same flow as inlet. The other out is tank and there should be no flow on it. Dan

Bx22 has no functions other than forward and reverse

Bx22 has no functions other than forward and reverse

Disconnect the tractor side backhoe supply hose and remove the quck coupler from the end. Stick the end of the hose in the transmission filler and start the engine. You should get a vigorous steady flow of oil out of that hose. If no flow the hydraulic pump is not working. Dan

Love the tractor, nightmare with the bobcat style quick couplers

I am not clear what you are showing in the picture. Are those screw to connect flat face couplers like this?

Looking closer at both pictures the female half is screwed into the valve. Your picture is the male tip off the end of the hose? Dan

Love the tractor, nightmare with the bobcat style quick couplers

It's some type of male o-ring boss fitting. They come in a variety of standard styles and are commonly used on ports in hydraulic valves. You may or may not be able to get it in a hose end fitting but if not a suitable port adapter should do the job. What's the full part number stamped on it...

Kubota LA481 Loader....I cannot find the replacement parts for it

If you just follow a few very simple directions you are not going to screw it up. And even if you did you are not going to do any damage. You don't need custom hoses. Your local tractor supply should have what you need on the shelf. Now pull those three hoses out and label them . Take a couple...

Kubota LA481 Loader....I cannot find the replacement parts for it

If you need longer hoses get longer hoses - they are cheap. If its over your head by all means get a mechanic. But this is not hard. Pull all three hoses down and out from under the loader. Using their positions on the outlet block label them as PUMP, PB, and TANK as I showed. You still have...

Kubota LA481 Loader....I cannot find the replacement parts for it

Did you try coming up from underneath rather than over top? I believe that is also the power beyond hose and you have it connected to the tank port. YOU NEED TO TRACE AND LABEL THE HOSES BEFORE CONNECTING THEM Here is that same valve installed on my LA525. Dan

    LA272 hose mishap -

Truth is I have been working with someone plumbing a log splitter. Log splitter valves with regen are commonly described as "fast extend" and that was simply the first thing that popped into my head...... Dan

    LA272 hose mishap -

Fast extend as in the extension of the cylinder which dumps the bucket. Also known as regen and/or fast dump. It does not matter what you call it, if you reverse the hoses the bucket will not curl. It will dump when the joystick is moved left or right. Dan
