I would eat a salad consisting entirely of dandelion leaves before I ate a salad that has any kale in it. It blows my mind that people think that stuff is edible.

You obviously don't know my kids... Son: *spills milk* Also son: *moves onto the next thing* Me: YOU CAN'T JUST IGNORE IT AND IT GOES AWAY! PICK UP THE CUP! STOP IT FROM SPILLING MORE! GET SOME PAPER TOWELS! COME ON!

Yes, they are basically just giant batteries. Very cheap for the capacities needed, but yeah, take up a lot of room. If the outlet were lower than the turbine than it would work until it ran out of water. If the outlet is higher than the turbine it would work until the water levels equalize...

Whoever drew that up is an idiot. It'll never work with the turbine lower than the water level in the funnel. *SMH* Such a simple mistake...

anybody know what this lever does ? in front of loader control lever ? (see photo)

Whenever I park I put down my 3pt and bucket and lock it. I don't need a kid accidentally dropping those things on another kid.

Laziest man south of the Mackinac bridge strikes again....Quick log splitter mod.

A pickeroon/hookeroon and a set of large log tongs are great. If I had to choose one, it'd be the log tongs. I made a sheath that is bolted to the axle/tank of my splitter - you could do the same sort of thing on your belt. https://tinyurl.com/22ocmwfv Fiskars makes a couple sizes, too.

My old dog Freya would do something similar. I'd be sitting there watching TV or something and she would sit in front of me getting pets. She'd sit just out of reach and stare at me like she's begging for food. And every several seconds her eyes would dart to the ceiling right above my head...

I think that was the problem. Everybody's fill is on the same side causing the massive lineup at the appropriate pump (since it's one way). If half the cars had fill on the other side then, presumably, the lines would be equal. Now, why they won't just open it up for bidirectional traffic is...

So, a redneck went in and asked a doctor about a vasectomy, but didn't have much money to spend on it. The doctor told him to go home, roll up a magazine and stick a lit firecracker in the end, hold the magazine tube up to his ear and count to 10. Confused, the redneck went home and did as the...

    Daily Chuckle

That was, legit, one of my requirements. I wanted some room so I could let the dog out in the morning and a couple hours later after I forget she's out there, she's still finding stuff to do on my own property. That and being able to run outside naked if need be. Not that I will, but if I...

As a dad, I wish I could laugh at that. "I'm not sleepy...." as he stumbles down the hallway. "Dude, it's been 2 minutes since you last came out here and said that!"

Looks to me like you're washing a brand new machine!

    Woodpeckers are doin-me-ead-in!

In the spring the young woodpeckers like to bang on the soffits and stuff to make as loud a noise as they can trying to attract mates. This stuff actually works really well. Probably only need it out for a month or two, just to get past that time where your house looks like an appealing place...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

This weekend is the last chance I have to go get my camper (travel trailer, 25') before I want to use it in 3 weeks. I didn't have anywhere to park it, so I had to get the tractor out and move 18" of dense, wet snow. It's really looking like a muddy mess right now, but I'm hoping over the next...
