Removing T-Posts - almost fell over

Plus the added benefit of leverage. The FEL plus the engine being a long way from the rear axle centerline means the 3PH has a very short radius to try and apply torque. Doubtful you'd get enough lift to roll the whole tractor backwards that way!

    B7001 steering broken

It should be the same as the B7100D/E. Some early B7100 models were serialized as B7001. The ball screw may be all boogered up. I have a "parts" tractor that is in the same situation, where the steering shaft backs off from the box when I turn it, no steering actuation at all. I'm told the...

To those looking for 20.5x8-10 tires

There are some folks down here (Texas) that have limousine golf carts that could be getting up there! Six seats, sound systems, lift kits, racks, lights, and all the bling. Yeah, I'm definitely buying a 900# rating per tire for that application! :ROFLMAO:

To those looking for 20.5x8-10 tires

Very interesting! I'm still rocking the ancient 20.5x8-10s so this pleases me greatly. I think I'll give them a shot when I get around to removing them. $79 each on US Amazon.

    Kubota B7100HST Won't Start

Wow. I think my 51R was only $115 at Costco in January. Enjoy that B7100 @CyberBill, they're fun little rigs and can do an extraordinary amount of work!

    Got that instant patina! :ROFLMAO:

    Kubota B7100HST Won't Start

A weak battery is bad, but poor connections can also make a starter slow. A good clean ground and connection to the starter are necessary. This tractor looks very clean (better than mine!) but you never know. Sometimes the cables can have internal damage causing poor current carrying...

Friends don't let friends shovel dirt

My FEL is in parts while I get all the hydraulics back together. Right now the tractor just fits with the BB on the back. The bucket would hang over the tongue if I had it mounted. I'm going to try backing it on with the BB up to see if that changes things.

Friends don't let friends shovel dirt

What's the length on that trailer? I've got a ramped 10' single axle that I use for my B7100 with the box blade and it's every bit of space between the front of the deck and the ramp folded up.

    tiny mod: seat switch defeat

Clever! Not a bad way of keeping the safety of a "Operator Presence Detection" sensor in place while accommodating some of the quirky ergonomic issues that certain attachments cause.

Be a part of Broken by Design: A Documentary on Right-to-Repair

This is the heart of the matter. I think R2R should be focused on the idea that the OEM can and should have some "product lifecycle" where they can hold proprietary design data captive while the products are under a reasonable warranty period with them being the provider of repair parts and...

    B6100 w/ Loader+Backhoe

I am very impressed by this. My B1630 loader frame seems to be in good condition with minimal pin play, but the bucket pins are pretty rough. I might borrow this idea if I need to do some clean up there. This is certainly better than OEM spec after you're done with this thing!

    B6100 w/ Loader+Backhoe

For my B1630 loader I bought cylinders, control valve, fittings, and all new hoses from Surplus Center. Fantastic resource and probably the best prices I can find, even local to the greater Houston area.

    B6100 w/ Loader+Backhoe

Let me know, I'm working on the loader for my B7100HST first and then I'm going to give this poor "parts" tractor a little attention. I'm usually all over South Texas for my "real job". It's amazing how badly your B6100 has been treated - I cannot fathom how a person can use so many incorrect...

    B7100 HST-D R14t Options (Check my math?)

Thanks for the sanity check! Definitely not going to spend too much time on hard surfaces or in 4WD!

    B7100 HST-D R14t Options (Check my math?)

Oops! I copied the wrong link - the 12-16.5 is recommended for a 9.75" The 10-16.5 is only 90" RC which would cause the ratio to be out of bounds. I could also go with a 18x8.5-10 front and 27x8.5-15 rear for a 1.507 ratio (-2.8%) and not need new wheels.

    B7100 HST-D R14t Options (Check my math?)

One last question - anyone know of any issues with mounting a 9.75" width tire on an 8.25" wheel? It doesn't look like anyone, anywhere, offers a 6x6 16.5" wheel. Anything 9.75" wide is an 8 lug setup.

    B6100 w/ Loader+Backhoe

Oof! That tractor started pretty rough! I'm of the same mindset, and I hate seeing mostly complete equipment neglected and fixed with hack repairs. The lack of stains and discoloration on the subframe/trans tunnel seems to confirm your assessment that the belly brace wasn't even bolted in...

    B7100 HST-D R14t Options (Check my math?)

Good morning, My B7100 HST-D has some very dry rotted turfs that need to go. I am keen on the newer R14t offerings from Titan/Goodyear, since I will be getting my B1630 loader put back together soon and installed on the tractor. Doing some research, there are no directly compatible sizes that...

    Recovered B8200 - Found abandoned

My B1630 loader was in the same state as this one is - crushed and rusty lines. I'm using this as an opportunity to learn a new skill and to bend and flare some new stainless lines with new fittings. I'm basically rebuilding the loader hydraulics from scratch and reusing the arms, uprights...
