A compression test would tell you more than a borescope would. If you are set on a borescope, there is an economical borescope that is common in the rifle world. I would have to look it up to remember the brand name.

I am not seeing any perpendicular holes in the knob that you would use to either install and remove a roll pin. So likely try to grab the shaft with some alligator vice grips and spray some PB blaster into the knob’s molded slot?

Correct, the bolts were misssing in mine. So I only have the nuts that are welded to the ROPs to go off of. I’ll just have to buy several bolts to try out.

I have these already. But the ROPS bolt is bigger than M12. I’m going to buy some M16x1.5 and see if they work. I’m surprised nobody knows on here.
