    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

I used an Easy Glider to pull the mulch off the trailer so that was under the mulch requiring to be careful not to catch and rip up the easy glider. If you watch the video, you’ll see me removing the Easy Glider once I had removed enough of the material. I was not sandbagging…

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

When we started this project a sheet of 10X5 aluminum was $325 and due to the commodities inflation brought in by our POTUS, that same sheet costs $700+. We knew the price point had to be closer to 1K vs. 2K but I agree it’s not for everyone. As far as usage, I actually use mine more than my...

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

The fact is, when we first started this project, a 10x5 sheet of aluminum was $325 and then due to The Biden Inflation that same sheet increased to $700. The Bottomless Bucket has gotten a lot of positive feedback, but the price were forced to charge due to the commodity prices sky rocketing...

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

You likely didn’t see that I had used an Easy Glider under the load of mulch that allows me to pull the mulch off my trailer and onto the driveway. With that under the mulch, I have to be a bit more careful when shoveling the mulch so that’s why my bucket wasn’t flush to the ground. If you...

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

Clearly you haven’t worked much with mulch. It doesn’t resist the bucket like dirt and stay in place. It moves around on the driveway as you try to scoop it up. You might get a half bucket on a good scoop but then you’re shoveling the rest. I’m able to swap the buckets in 35 seconds so...

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

Swapping out the Steel Bucket with the Bottomless bucket only took 35 seconds: https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxS-baH63wl2H7GL-9Aeeibl3E_zwB1Mgz

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

Did you watch the video? I didn't touch a shovel to fill The Bottomless Bucket. My point was that if you use your steel bucket to mulch your gardens, you'll have to have a shovel handy more often than not to completely fill the steel bucket.

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

Those are cool buckets but even the lightest weight skeleton buckets weighs in and over 200 LBS and you’re not going to get a full yard of material in it. The Bottomless Bucket is 168 LBS empty and a full yard of mulch is about 600 LBS. You could see on the video that we we’re close to maxing...

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

If you watched the video you could see many scoops were half full or less. If I’m using just my steel bucket and wanted to fill it to the max before going out to the beds, it would mean using a shove to fill it. All kidding aside…

    Mulching with The Bottomless Bucket

Well it's that time of year and we're laying down yards and yards of mulch. We used to use the trusty wheel barrow before we got our BX 1880 and last year we used the bucket to move the mulch, but here's the challenge with using that small tractor bucket. The first is that it's hard to get a...

Made myself a pallet fork attachment

Those are beautiful, and for sure, their low weight is what really differentiates them in the market. We'd be interested in reselling them on our web-site at bottomlessbucketstore.com. If you have don't have time to do the fabrication of them in high volume, we have our own fabricators that...

    The "Go Anywhere Workbench"

Thanks for your feedback. We thought of putting pallet fork sleeves on the bottom of the bench , but then re-considered doing so because we thought most of you would want access to your bucket when you're in the woods to dig up stumps and to move firewood around etc. I find pallet forks are...

    The "Go Anywhere Workbench"

Thanks for your feedback. If you look carefully there is, in fact, a 1 1/2" lip that goes around the entire bottom tray. My burn pit and fire wood stack is down a steep and un-level embankment and I had no issues getting the bench down there, but it's hard to tell how much undulations you're...

    The "Go Anywhere Workbench"

My question precisely. There is a 1 1/2" lip around the lower tray that maybe isn't apparent from the one picture posted here. The web-site has more pics that make it more apparent.

    The "Go Anywhere Workbench"

Thanks for your feedback and it's exactly what we're looking for and why we asked for your comments. It may not be clear from the picture, but the bottom tray does have a 1 1/2" edge to keep things from sliding off the lower tray. We will consider the adjustable legs idea as we understand...

    The "Go Anywhere Workbench"

Point taken about legs on the bench. If you take a careful look at the bottom tray there is a 1 1/2" catch rail all around the bottom shelf to keep stuff from sliding off. Are you saying you would like it deeper?

The Bottomless Bucket Just Got Even Better....

Yes. This is the current sale price. Unfortunately, the price of aluminum has sky rocketed over the last year and we're not imune to these price spikes in the raw materials. I think you'll find this buckets utility will surprise you....
