Re: B7100DT repair questions

OK...
That a B7100DT (Geared)
Not a B7100HSTD (Hydrostat)

Someone has swapped the hoods!

If it's slipping it's a fried clutch... no other real option. :(

Do you know the cause?

Re: T2380

That particular model Kohler engine is $2k to $2.6K new.

So it might be worth rebuilding if possible. ;)

Re: B1700 HSD - irregular cranking.

It's more likely that it's a bad or mal adjusted safety switch than it is the main ignition switch.
There are three or four safety switches, HST pedal linkage (most common fail point) Clutch pedal,...

Re: M8540:Is my fuel filter diaphram stuck?

Don't force it at all!

When you drained and cleaned the water seperator did you remember to open the fuel shut off?

Did you replace the fuel filter with a stock filter?

Re: Looking at buying.

Everything your saying can be done with a BX on up, so my suggestion would be go to a dealer and plant your backside in some seats and get a feel for the size and options avalible. ;)

Re: B1750e

Deadheading the pump is stopping fluid from flowing without it being able to return to the tractor, thuss overpressuring the system.

If the three point has a feedback rod mal adjusted, or if...

Re: B7100 vs B7500

Comparing a B7100 to a B7400, well that's like trying to compare a 1950's Packard to a 1980's cadillac.

Let's just skip over even trying to compare because they are nothing alike.

For things...

Re: B1750e

You have a blown seal on the hydraulic pump.

It's mounted behind the injection pump on the right side of the engine.

Most common causes for a seal blow out are dead heading the hydraulic system...

Re: Help Identifying Grey Market Kubota

Sadly no not on a b7000, they have a unique front axle setup, it's different than the standard axle setups and parts on the B6000, B6100, B7100, or B7001 or any others of the same era. ;)

Re: Joint cover on BX1870

I agree with Henro, just get a new cover, the damage that can be done to parts in there from getting to dirty could get rather expensive! ;)

Re: L2850 loss of power

You got to be careful as some models have dual clutches and the travel clutch can be fried and yet the PTO clutch is fine.

Re: Somebody tampered with my D1005 injection pump

Most likely you have the injection pump installed wrong, you don't have the rack engaging the governor linkage properly.

Take the stop plate off and get some good pictures inside the hole.

Re: B7100d hst 4wd repair questions

Pull the center cover you can see the propeller shaft from the clutch to the HST.

If when you try to move the tractor the shaft slows or quits spinning clutch is shot, if the shaft keeps spinning...

Re: Ford vs Ferrari Tiller for L3560

It's not a matter of covering your tracks with a tiller, as much as it is HP required to run a tiller.

You don't have enough HP to run a 70" rototiller!

Re: hydraulic cap rubber head broke off - kubota l3540

Are you talking about the dust cap?

If so then no, they don't hold or stop any pressure.
If you have a fluid leak then you have a bad quick connect.

He means GP indicator.

You need to start with removing the wires / buss bar to all the glow plugs and check them individually for resistance.

Then check voltage at the wire and to each side of...

Re: L2850 loss of power

Is the motor slowing RPM (dogging down) when you try to move the tractor, or is the engine staying the same RPM and the tractor only moves slowly?
