Update:
After reassembling the Box Blade the correct way according the the manual, the quick hitch is now working properly!
I did call my sales rep at the dealer and he knew exactly what the issue was, apparently they had a few that went out assembled incorrectly and others were having issues with their quick hitches as well.
Note for anyone else with this issue: I had to use a 1/2" impact gun to get the large center pin bolt off. Me and my buddy could not break it free with a breaker bar + extension... it was on there good.
