Greetings gents. I recently picked up a new BX 1880. To supplement my L2501 and will use it primarily as a mower. I decided to try my GS0560 lane plane on it. The top link is almost seized on the jam nut side. I was able to extent the tractor side enough to get on the implement so I could use the pry tab to break it loose but was flexing the tab. Next step is to clamp it in a wise and manhandle it but wanted to see if there was any advice first. Maybe there is a factory set screw or grease port I’ve missed. The other side is smooth as can be. Thanks D

If it is new new get a different top link from dealer or have them repair it under warranty

Else use some PB Blaster or Kroil or Deep Creep or similar penetrating oil and get it loose
