Does anyone know if there’s a third party/aftermarket place to purchase pallet forks with back plate for a kubota lx3310? My dealer is quoting me $1475 is that a good price?

Before COVID, I purchased a set of forks for my L3560 for $500 out the door new. I don't know what the prices are currently, but in my mind that seems awful high for the size of forks you would need for the LX.

That’s what I thought. I see them all around for $600 and $700 but I can’t find the exact ones I need for my tractor.

I don't know what brand or model forks he's giving you a price on so no way to know if the price is hight. That said forks rated for your tractor should be a lot less.

I paid $350 for a new set of 42" 2200 lb pallet forks locally just over 2 years ago. Other than mine being orange, they look identical to the EA forks. My friend just bought a tractor and I told him he needed some pallet forks and I looked around to find him a set. I couldn't believe the price increases.

Do you know of any places I can look and see if they have any for my model tractor?

In my neck of the woods everything is $800-$1000 plus if you can find them. LP went from $700 to $1100 and not available till either June or Nov. I just purchased a set from EA which ran me just over $1000 delivered to my door. 3 month wait though.

Might buy this frame, then locate a couple of forks. Forks are pretty universal. You just slide them and position them.

I found this frame brand new on FB Marketplace except it was for a mini skid steer for $150. Bought it, cut the mini quick attach off, build my own quick attach on the frame, had a set of 42" forks at the farm. Done. $150 dollars, some time...

Mine are Martatch 42" class 2 SSQA forks, came through my dealer when i bought my B2650 and implements.
Pallet Forks | Martatch attachments | Wellesley, Ontario
Apparently available in the USA as well.
They've been rock solid.

Not sure what pallet forks to recommend for your LX3310.

For price comparison I purchased LANDPRIDE PFL2042 forks early last year for $895 from my local dealer. However, with price increases across the board and increases in steel prices I would definitely assume they would cost much more today.

Enjoy, hope it works out for you and you are able to find what you need.

Stay safe & healthy

According to EA, the smaller forged forks (2000lb range) which are what subcompact and compact tractors need are unavailable most of the time. Which is why they started making welded hardox fork blades that have the light weight and 2000lb capacity.

That's probably why the prices are insane from the dealer for the smaller forged forks now also. Make sure you ask what the lead time is for any of them, including the dealer's forged forks, before ordering if you need them any time soon.

You might find 4000lb+ forks, but the frame and forks can weigh 100-200lbs more which just kills your lift capacity on a small tractor. If you are going to have to pay inflated prices one way or another might as well get the best choice for weight.

I have an LX2610 that I bought new late last year and was able to get the Land Pride PFL1242 forks for $750. 1200 lbs/42" long.

Here’s the weight lift ratings in the gospel.
If comparing makes the specs from LP may be helpful? If you ever plan on larger machine that might be a consideration as well for how heavy duty to compare/purchase. It’s one of most versatile implements so a couple extra minutes comparing/ considering and a few extra bucks is well spent.

I am thinking your loader number is it's capacity in kilos and if you multiply times 2.2 you will get it in pounds. My LA525 uses the LP1242 forks which are rated at 1200lbs. 525x2.2 is 1,155.

I could be wrong.

If you have to wait either way, go for EA. I’m very very happy with my set. And they are made in the USA with American steel and American labor.

Just my 2 cents

I went a lil crazy in my search when i couldnt find my original choice around here, the LP PFL1242. I wanted the frame in the back while being light weight and having adjustable forks. I ended up going with the EA compact forks with the hardox tines. The pic demonstrates my craziness and the zero availability around me.
