Yes: DDG does not have a browser for PC or Mac, but it does offer a browser app for mobile devices.

Well I do not go to porn sites, AND I use duckduckgo as a browser...But after posting I figured out what struck me as unexpected with that add...Hair Color!

Had it been ORANGE rather than red, I probably would not have noticed!

More to the mystery then. I am the only user of that machine, as it is in my basement workshop.

No one uses my phone or iPad either. And our wireless access is password protected. I do use a vpn normally on my phone, and on the iPad if we are away from home. But not on the workshop computer as it never leaves the workshop. Puzzling...wonder if I read a news article that somehow might have triggered the adds appearing?

Not that I’m complaining! Just struck me as strange that such an add/photo would appear on this site. And NO, I did not click on it! ROFL...

ANyone else in the home? Could be IP based and it is sending ads based on the IP of your router (which would be the same no matter the computer in the house. Wife maybe? This is getting good!

LOL! I was thinking along those lines too. But the wife is over 75 ( not polite to ask/tell a woman’s age, right? ) so it is unlikely she is surfing those kind of sites…I think! LOL again.
