Hello,
I recently purchased an F2260 (guessing early 2000's), and it came with a F5211 quick hitch, a B2765 front blade, and half a PTO shaft (the half attached to the tractor).

1) I'm trying to get it set up with a front mower deck. I'm having a really tough time locating a 60" mower deck for it - the parts locator lists these decks as compatible:

RC60R-F30 (Rear Discharge)
RC60R-F30B (Rear Discharge)
RCK60-F30 (Side Discharge)

So here are several questions for anyone who might have more experience:
- Would a newer mower deck such as the RCK60P-F36 for the 80-series F mower fit my machine?
- Would there be modifications required?
- If the newer deck wouldn't fit, any advice on how to find one that would?

2) I bought a L2162 rotary sweeper, which looks like it'll fit the quick hitch but has no PTO shaft attached. Are PTO shafts fairly universal? I'm wondering if I find the mower deck and it comes with a PTO assembly, then would that same assembly likely fit this sweeper?

I really appreciate any advice you can offer - thanks in advance.
Geoff

Pictures of what you have please.

We have 2 F3680 and 2 F2690 at work. I've never swapped the decks, but they look the same, so I think they would swap around. And the PTO for the decks should fit up to the sweeper, if it is made for an F mower.

Thank you. I’ll take pics when I get home today and post them.

Those are with the quick hitch mounted, obviously. The main attachment points I see are at the end of the arms, and midway out the arms.

Looks like a very neat attachment. And I didn’t know they offered hydraulics up front. Pretty cool.

You are correct, the end of the links support the deck, while the mid points are part of the height adjustment along with the castors on the front of deck. I will take a picture of works F2690 tomorrow evening, but just looking at it, any F mower deck would work, with a PTO shaft of course!

That’s helpful - thanks! It looks like about the only difference is that I wouldn’t have a place to attach that gas shock, but I could probably just take it off. I assume it just assists with tilting the deck up.

I think it is to stop the deck from flopping around as much when lifted. You can remove the bar with black handle and disengage the piston, making it longer. I've gotten spoiled with my 2 post lift, I don't fold decks up anymore to change blades!
